技术领域
本发明涉及集液器,尤其涉及可插入燃料蒸汽阀中的集液器和挡板。
背景技术
在车辆燃料排放系统中使用燃料蒸汽阀,例如燃料限制通风阀(FLVV)、分级通风阀(GVV)和滚翻阀(ROV),以控制蒸汽压力、引起填料喷嘴关闭以及防止燃料从系统溢出。尽管这些阀都设计成最小化液态燃料从阀的泄漏,但是一些用户提出了更严格的要求,要求这些阀实质上零泄漏。
尽管可重新设计阀以满足这些要求,但仍希望有更简单的解决方案,以便无需对现有阀进行过多修改就可减少燃料蒸汽阀中的泄漏。还期望一种可集成进现有燃料蒸汽阀以降低开发时间和成本的泄漏减少装置。
发明内容
一种用于燃料蒸汽阀的插件可以捕集液态燃料并防止燃料从该阀泄漏。该插件包括管部和环绕所述管部布置的裙部。所述裙部密封地抵靠所述燃料蒸汽阀的一部分,例如密封地抵靠在阀孔(端口)的内壁或者阀的顶部部分上以用作阀盖。所述管部和所述裙部与所述燃料蒸汽阀配合,以便形成捕集液态燃料的储液部。

具体实施方式
参考图1和2,用于燃料蒸汽阀11(图中仅部分地示出)的插件10用来捕集可能通过阀密封件12和阀座13泄漏的液态燃料。阀密封件12的位置可通过例如浮子或者任何其它已知方法或结构来控制。尽管阀密封件12和阀座13可设计成防泄漏的,但如果阀11处于特定方向或倒置,则燃料仍可能通过阀座13泄漏进入阀11的其它部分。插件10设计成用作后备泄漏防止结构,以使整个阀11实质上不会泄漏。
本实施例中的插件10包括管部14和环绕该管部14的裙部16。裙部16可为管状(图1和2)或平面状。裙部16还可与管部14同心。管部14和裙部16在该管部14与阀11中的孔20的内壁之间形成储液部18。该储液部18捕集穿过阀座13溢出的液态燃料,以防止其进一步漏过孔20并流出阀11。
插件10可由适于用在其中将使用该插件10的阀上的任意材料制成,例如塑料或金属。
裙部16的尺寸设计成使它紧密地装配在孔20中。插件10可通过能够在裙部16与孔20的内壁之间提供密封的任何措施紧固在孔20中,包括但不限于压配合、焊接、粘接和/或胶合。插件10的裙部与孔20之间的密封防止泄漏穿过阀座13的液态燃料通过孔20从阀11漏出。
管部14和裙部16的尺度可选择成用以捕集插件10与孔20之间预定量的液体。例如,如图1和2中所示,管部14与裙部16的直径之间的差以及管部14本身的长度会改变被插件10捕集的液体的体积。例如,图1示出管部14和裙部16的直径之间的差小且管部14较长的实施例,而图2示出管部14和裙部16的直径之间的差大且管部14较短的实施例。改变管部14与裙部16的相对直径以及管部14的长度会改变由插件10捕集的液体量。
图3示出根据本发明另一实施例的插件10。该实施例中的插件10附装在阀11的顶部部分22上,而非孔20中。更特别地,插件10可用作替换阀11的现有封盖的液体区别封盖。该实施例中的裙部16的形状可为法兰状,而非如图1和2的实施例中的管状,以使它可焊接或以其它方式附装至阀11的顶部。该实施例中的插件10还包括作为插件10的一部分一体形成的插件孔24,从而组合插件10的功能与阀盖的功能。
在该实施例中,插件10的管部14和裙部16与阀11的顶部部分22配合,以形成捕集泄漏通过阀座13的液态燃料的储液部18。如图1和2的实施例中那样,该实施例中管部14的长度和直径可调节,以改变储液部18的容积。由于图3的插件10将孔24集成进插件10本身,所以该实施例可用在其孔太小而无法容纳图1和2中所示插件10的阀设计中。
根据任一实施例的插件10还都可具有除防止泄漏以外的其他功能。例如,插件10还可用作限制液态燃料在孔20内的晃动(泼溅)的挡板。更特别地,管部14破坏孔20中的流体流以防止晃动。同样,管部14的直径可选择成用作限制在更大孔内的流动的计量孔。这将使得相同的阀10设计既可用于高流速应用(没有插件10),又可用于低流速应用(具有插件10)。
因此,插件10捕集可能已经通过蒸汽阀11中的阀座13泄漏的液态燃料,以使阀11本身实质上没有泄漏。插件10的简单结构允许其被改型进现有阀12中。由于插件10不需要阀11本身结构的任何改变,并且由于插件10设计简单,所以易于产生改型进不同现有燃料蒸汽阀11的不同插件10,并且以最小的开发时间和成本提供期望的防泄漏特性。
尽管已经详细描述了实施本发明的最佳模式,但是本发明所属领域的技术人员会认识到在所附权利要求的范围内实施本发明的各种替代设计和实施方式。

Claims (12)

1.一种用于燃料蒸汽阀的插件,包括:
管部;以及
环绕该管部设置的裙部,其特征在于,该插件构造成插入该燃料蒸汽阀的孔的开口端中以使该裙部抵靠该燃料蒸汽阀的一部分进行密封;
其中,所述管部和所述裙部与所述燃料蒸汽阀的所述一部分配合,以便形成捕集液态燃料的储液部,并且其中,所述插件定向成相对于与燃料蒸汽阀相关的阀座成一定角度,使得由所述管部限定的中心线构造成与由阀座限定的中心线相交。
2.如权利要求1的插件,其特征在于,所述燃料蒸汽阀的所述一部分为孔,并且所述裙部抵靠所述孔的内壁进行密封。
3.如权利要求1的插件,其特征在于,所述裙部为管状。
4.如权利要求1的插件,其特征在于,所述裙部为平面状。
5.如权利要求1的插件,其特征在于,所述燃料蒸汽阀的所述一部分为顶部部分,所述插件附装在所述顶部部分上以用作阀盖。
6.如权利要求5的插件,还包括一体地形成为所述插件的一部分的插件孔。
7.如权利要求1的插件,其特征在于,所述管部的直径、所述管部的长度和所述裙部的直径选择成产生具有预定容积的储液部。
8.一种燃料蒸汽阀,包括:
壳体;
形成在所述壳体中的阀座;
能抵靠该阀座进行密封的阀密封件;以及
插件,该插件捕集泄漏通过所述阀密封件的液态燃料,该插件具有:
管部;以及
环绕该管部设置的裙部,其特征在于,该插件构造成插入该燃料蒸汽阀的孔的开口端中以使该裙部抵靠所述燃料蒸汽阀的一部分进行密封;
其中,所述管部和所述裙部与所述燃料蒸汽阀的所述一部分配合,以便形成捕集液态燃料的储液部,并且其中,所述插件定向成相对于与燃料蒸汽阀相关的阀座成一定角度,使得由所述管部限定的中心线构造成与由阀座限定的中心线相交。
