Description

平视显示装置
技术领域
本发明涉及投影在挡风玻璃类型的、至少部分透明的载体上的显示系统领域。
特别地,本发明涉及技术上英语中称为Head Up Display或简称HUD的平视显示系统领域。这样的系统在飞机驾驶舱、火车中特别地有用,近来在私人机动车辆(汽车、卡车等)中特别地有用。
背景技术
在这样的系统中,玻璃窗一般由最简单地包括两个玻璃板的夹层结构组成。这两个玻璃板由可热成型的中间片相互连接,其中中间片最经常包括聚乙烯醇缩丁醛(PVB)或者由PVB组成。
已知平视显示系统,其显示投影到玻璃窗上、向驾驶员或观察员反射的信息。这些系统特别地允许向车辆驾驶员提供相关信息,而驾驶员不用使其目光离开车辆前方的视野。因此,这样的装置,除了其提供的舒适之外,还赋予了增加的安全性。因此,驾驶员看到位于挡风玻璃后面一定距离处的虚像。

容易估计这种系统的实际困难,该系统为了其理想的工作需要昂贵且精密的实施装置,这些装置:
一方面,为了在玻璃窗上产生和重现图像,需要获得在其大部分表面上包含发光物质层的玻璃窗,其中所述发光物质层的性质、浓度和定位必须合理地选择并且小心地控制;
另一方面,为了所述图像在挡风玻璃上良好的定位以及所追求的形状,通过复杂装置的使用允许同时生成、调节以及引导激励射线。
此外,在美国专利6,979,499B2中所描述的系统有在车辆的仪表板中定位的问题和体积的问题。
另外,这种在挡风玻璃处包含发光物质的HUD装置,特别是相对于传统的借助于反射的HUD系统,其特征在于低亮度,因为发光物质的浓度被在挡风玻璃处保持足够的光透射和足够低的模糊度以免不可接受地破坏驾驶员的视觉所限制。
特别地,似乎当外部光度强时,一般在昼视中,这种装置的光强度仍然显得很不足。为了解决这个问题,当然可以使用紫外线激光器类型的、产生集中光的激励源,但是这种激励源有危险性问题和在车辆内部及外部的封闭问题。
发明内容

所述象形字符根据驾驶员的视线角度被置于挡风玻璃上不透光材料层处。
优选地,所述发光物质层被置于热塑性的片或中间层向着车辆驾驶室的面上,构成所述中间层的可热成型材料在以下组中选择:PVB、塑化PVC、聚氨酯PU或者乙烯醋酸乙烯酯EVA。

具体实施方式
在图1中,示意地示出了根据本发明的挡风玻璃和装置:
挡风玻璃1包括两个由玻璃制成的板2和9。在所述两个板之间有塑料中间片3(例如由PVB(聚乙烯醇缩丁醛)、塑化PVC、PU或者EVA制成),或包含例如PET(聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯)的热塑性多层片,其一系列的层例如是PVB/PET/PVB。

根据一个可能的实施例,发光物质层10可以例如被沉积在玻璃板2的一个或另一个表面上的透明保护环氧清漆(例如是由MARABU公司商业化的、名为MARABU GL的类型的)内。根据另一个实施例,发光物质层可以在挡风玻璃的安装后以包括所述层的透明塑料膜的形式加在挡风玻璃上。
在发光物质层的沉积是在热塑性PVB(或其他)片上进行的情况下,可以特别地根据热成型片的厚度使用丝网印刷技术、喷墨类型的技术或者胶版印刷、柔性版印刷的或者凹版印刷类型的技术。
如在图1中所示,使用电磁射线源4,以发射具有适当波长的入射射线7,该波长优选地而非排他地在紫外线范围内。将发光物质选择为具有高入射射线吸收系数。还将发光物质选择为随后优选地以高效率重新发射出在可见光范围内的射线,即位于400-800m范围内的射线。因此,来自于发光物质的可见射线可以直接被驾驶员的眼睛5观察到,这样,驾驶员看见预先印在挡风玻璃上的象形字符,而不需要让视线离开道路。这样,图像可以直接在叠层挡风玻璃上实现,而不需要显著地改造其结构,这允许经济地制造根据本发明的HUD系统。
根据本发明所使用的发光物质是在发光应用中常规使用的发光物质,并且当然根据所使用的激励源来选择。根据本发明,可以使用所有现有的发光物质。实际中并且更一般地,根据本发明,选择不具有扩散到中间层材料中的趋势的发光物质。该扩散随时间推移会造成所印的图像变得不清晰,象形字符会变得模糊,尤其是在较高温度下。例如,如果层10被沉积在可热成型材料制成的中间层3上(或者被沉积在其中一片的一个面上,如果片3由多个连续的可热成型的层构成的话),则可以更特别地优选无机发光物质,以避免发光物质迁移到塑料基质中。
例如,可用的发光物质可以是已知的用于响应紫外线激励(降频转换)或可替代地用于响应在红外线范围内的激励(升频转换)的所有类型。这样的材料可以例如在无机发光物质(例如:最经常为金属质的铝酸盐、硼酸盐、磷酸盐、硅酸盐、硫族化物、卤化物、氧化物的类型)的范围内选择。最经常地,为了获得荧光,这些材料构成基质,该基质掺杂有在稀土元素组(例如:Eu、Ce、Er、Pr、Tb、Tm、Dy组)中或者在过渡金属组(例如:Mn、Cr、Ti、Ag、Cu、Zn组)中选择的元素。这种产品在例如荧光灯领域中已众所周知。此外,这些发光物质具有相对便宜、效率可以接近甚至达到100%的优点。
在不超出本发明范围的情况下,根据本发明,还可以使用激光染料类型的发光物质,以及有机聚合物。根据本发明,还可以在II-VI或者III-V类型的纳米半导体组中选择发光物质,其中所述纳米半导体在技术上通常称为量子点(英语为quantum dot)。
根据本发明,还可以使用有机金属分子作为发光物质。这些分子例如由荧光中心组成,所述中心由被有机基团围绕和连接的至少一个金属原子或稀土原子组成。
所使用的源例如是常规的紫外线源,例如但不限于LED类型的。根据可替代实施例,还可以使用紫外线激光源,例如但不限于固体激光器、半导体激光二极管、气体激光器、染料激光器、准分子激光器的类型。一般地,根据本发明,可以使用任何已知的紫外线激励源。
然而,在所有这些源中,由于成本低、体积小、使用和安装方便的原因,LED是优选的。优选地,根据本发明,将使用透镜以在发光物质层或者象形字符上聚集入射射线。根据本发明的一个有利实施例,并且与现有技术的HUD显示装置相反地,优选地,激励源不依赖于使用复杂的用于调节和引导激励射线的装置,例如数字光处理投影机(英语为Digital LightProcessing Projector,简称DLP)类型的后射投影(rétroprojection)系统。特别地,根据本发明,激励源优选地是固定的,并且直接朝向象形字符,而不需要改变其发射光谱。特别地,根据本发明,激励源可以由被置于和藏在仪表板、挡风玻璃的侧立柱或者车顶中的LED网或光束构成。根据本领域的技术布置LED面向包含了一个或多个要显示的象形字符的挡风玻璃的位置。
此外,根据本发明,将发光物质层置于黑色珐琅层处还有显著地改善图像强度、对比度和清晰度的优点。特别地在昼视时,与现有技术的HUD装置相反地,重新发出的可见射线的强度允许驾驶员完好地看见象形字符,甚至在挡风玻璃有强日照8的条件下也可以。根据本发明的另一优点,构成象形字符的发光物质的浓度可以大幅度地增加,而不必担心模糊度的增加,或发光物质沉积位置的光透射的减少。
同样要注意,本发明还允许简单、直接和经济地解决所使用的源的危险性的问题,特别是当所使用的源发出聚集的紫外线(或红外线)光束的时候。这样,根据本发明,黑色涂层6必须在入射射线7的传播方向上置于发光物质层10之后。这样,该涂层有利地形成紫外线吸收层,并且借助于其构造允许避免入射射线在车辆驾驶室之中或之外的任何危险的泄漏。然而,显然地,如果在入射射线7的传播方向上在发光物质层10之后存在吸收入射射线的其他附加层,也不会超出本发明的范围。最后,黑色涂层6允许防止外部辐射8(紫外线、可见光)对发光物质的任何损坏,并且因此保证根据本发明的HUD系统的使用寿命与车辆的使用寿命相符。
此外,由于置于发光物质层紧后面的黑色背景6的存在,从外面看不到显示。
根据另一个变型,根据本发明,特别地为了改善预先印上的象形字符的对比度,还可以在发光物质层10之前,例如在玻璃板2的其中一个表面上添加已知材料层,作为针对所使用的激励辐射的抗反射物。根据一个可以补充上述实施例的变型,挡风玻璃同样可以设有可见光反射层,其置于叠层挡风玻璃中在发光物质层和黑色背景之间,优选地直接置于发光物质层之后,例如在板2的内表面上,以增加亮度,甚至增加对比度。
在不超出本发明范围的情况下,当激励源在红外线范围内、即在升频转换范围内发出辐射时,可以使用激光类型的聚集光源。
根据本发明,当然可以在层10中使用发光物质的混合物,例如在红光中发光的发光物质、在蓝光中发光的发光物质以及在绿光中发光的发光物质,这些发光物质中的每一种均具有一个吸收带,吸收带可以是不同的和/或有区别的,允许被一种或几种入射射线激励。在层10内,不同的发光物质被例如精确地沉积在中间层3、板2上,以形成预先印上的多色象形字符。
根据一个可能的替代方案,在发光物质层中混合不同类型的发光物质,以获得所期望的颜色,其可以达到白色。
根据另一个实施例,可以选择、定位和定向某些LED以选择性地激励一种类型的发光物质,并选择、定位和定向其他LED以选择性地激励相同象形字符上的另外一种发光物质。可替代地,可以使用唯一一种类型的LED,来激励组成象形字符的所有发光物质。
在图3中,以前视立面图示出了根据本发明的挡风玻璃。在挡风玻璃1上,根据欧洲标准ECE43附录18,示意地示出了驾驶员不同的视觉区域:区域A,对应于驾驶员中心视觉区域;区域B,对应于中间视觉区域;以及周边区域C,在目前商业化的挡风玻璃上黑色珐琅背景6从周边区域C突出,其中所述背景通常通过丝网印刷被沉积在叠层玻璃窗的整个外廓上。出于图3和图4可读性的原因,只通过黑线15示出了丝网印刷的黑色层6的上界限。如图3所示,黑色珐琅6还被沉积在玻璃窗下边缘处并且位于中心位置的附加区域11中,例如直到区域B的界限。相同性质的或者发出不同颜色的可见光的发光物质层12、13、14也通过丝网印刷被沉积在附加区域11处,以在挡风玻璃的下部形成一系列的象形字符。与这些象形字符关联的,藏在仪表板中的电致发光二极管LED允许根据例如需求或逼近的危险的可用信息来选择性地显示这些象形字符中的一个或者另一个。
图4示出了本发明的另一个实施例,其中黑色背景的附加区域被置于玻璃窗的上部中,并且具有不连续层的形式,例如黑色破损(dég radée)的丝网印刷区域。
示例地并参照欧洲规范(标准ECE 43),可以在整个区域C,甚至在区域B的某些位置,尤其是在第三遮阳挡板的实际位置,即如图4所示大约在内部中央后视镜和挡风玻璃的上带之间,沉积连续的或破损的黑色背景。根据标准ECE 43,包括了伸向如图4所示的玻璃窗的V形中央区域的这种区域,当然图4是简单的示意图,并没有反映出所述区域的实际比例。
与上述实施例相同地,相同性质的或者发出不同颜色的可见光的发光物质层12、13、14也通过丝网印刷被沉积在附加区域11处,使得在挡风玻璃上部形成一系列的象形字符。在该实施例中,用于产生激励光的装置(例如:LED网)被很容易地置于车顶处,通常在车辆内灯的曲面盖之后。

Claims (14)

1.一种包含平视显示装置的叠层挡风玻璃,包括由两个透明的无机玻璃板(2、9)形成的组件,所述两个板由可热成型材料制成的中间层(3)或者由集成了这种中间层的多层片按照以下顺序相互连接:
第一外板(9),一面向着车辆外部,另一面与中间层或多层片(3)接触,另外,所述另一面在其边缘中的至少一个上覆盖有不透光、不透明、优选地为黑色的材料制成的层(6);
第二内板(2),一面与中间层或多层片(3)接触,另一面向着车辆内部(20),
所述挡风玻璃,其特征在于,包括至少一个由至少一种发光物质材料制成的层(10),其中所述发光物质材料被选择成,通过重新发出在可见光范围内的光射线来响应在紫外线或红外线范围内的激励入射光波(8);所述层根据驾驶员(5)的视线角度被置于挡风玻璃(1)上,在不透光、不透明、优选地为黑色的材料制成的层(6)处。
2.如权利要求1所述的挡风玻璃,其特征在于:
包括至少一个以象形字符(12、13、14)形式沉积的、由至少一种发光物质材料制成的层(10),其中所述发光物质材料被选择成,通过重新发出在可见光范围内的光射线来响应在紫外线或红外线范围内的激励入射光波(8);
所述象形字符(12、13、14)根据驾驶员(5)的视线角度被置于挡风玻璃(1)上,在不透光材料制成的层(6)处。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的叠层挡风玻璃,其中,发光物质层(10)被置于热塑性的片或中间层向着车辆驾驶室(20)的面上。
4.如上述权利要求中任一项所述的叠层挡风玻璃,其中,构成中间层的可热成型材料在以下组中选择:PVB、塑化PVC、聚氨酯PU或者乙烯醋酸乙烯酯EVA。
5.如上述权利要求中任一项所述的叠层挡风玻璃,其中,所述透明板通过集成了PVB中间层的多层片相互连接,所述多层片例如为包括一系列层PVB/PET/PVB的片,其中PET是聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯。
6.如上述权利要求中任一项所述的叠层挡风玻璃,还包括针对所使用的激励辐射的抗反射材料层,所述抗反射材料层被置于所述组件中发光物质层(10)之前,例如在所述内玻璃板(2)的其中一个面上。
7.如上述权利要求中任一项所述的叠层挡风玻璃,还包括反射可见光的材料层,所述反射可见光的材料层被置于所述组件中发光物质层(10)之前,例如在所述内玻璃板(2)的内表面上。
8.一种用于在叠层挡风玻璃上显示图像的装置,包括如上述权利要求中任一个所述的挡风玻璃、和在紫外线或者红外线范围内的射线的产生源(4),其中所述射线的光束被引向包括象形字符(12、13、14)的玻璃窗区域(11)。
9.如权利要求8所述的显示装置,其中,常规的紫外射线产生源选自:电致发光二极管LED类型的源、紫外线激光源,例如,固体激光器、半导体激光二极管、气体激光器、染料激光器、准分子激光器类型的。
10.如权利要求9所述的显示装置,其中,所述紫外射线产生源由LED网构成。
11.如权利要求10所述的显示装置,还包括透镜,所述透镜构造和布置成在发光物质层或者象形字符上聚集入射的紫外射线。
12.如权利要求8至11中任一项所述的显示装置,其中,电致发光二极管专用于在挡风玻璃上显示象形字符。
13.如权利要求8至12中任一项所述的显示装置,其中,至少两个电致发光二极管专用于在挡风玻璃上显示象形字符。
14.如权利要求8至13中任一项所述的显示装置,包括用于根据至少两种配置来调节所述产生源的功率的装置:一种配置用于夜视,其中所述源的功率被调节成使得象形字符的亮度通常包括在大约30和大约100Cd/m2之间;一种配置用于昼视,其中所述源的功率被调节成使得象形字符的亮度通常包括在大约200和大约2000Cd/m2之间。
