Abstract
自動車フロントガラスに旋光子を積層してなる光学機能性フィルムを設ける表示システムにおいて、透視歪みが大きくなり、光学機能性フィルムを挿入することが困難となる場合がある。
【解決手段】室内側と室外側の2枚の板ガラスを2枚の中間膜を用いて接着し、該2枚の中間膜の間に、厚みが12〜22μmのフィルム状の旋光子を積層してなる光学機能フィルムを挿入する。旋光子の厚みは4〜5μmである。2枚の中間膜の合計厚みは760μm以上とし、さらに、室内側中間膜の厚みを380μm以上、室外側中間膜の厚みが室内側中間膜の1〜2倍の厚みとする。

Description
また、本発明の自動車用フロントガラスは、前記自動車用フロントガラスにおいて、旋光子の厚みが4μm〜5μmであることを特徴とする自動車用フロントガラスである。
図2に示す構成の光学機能性フィルム6を用いた。旋光子8は、保護層として用いたポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)9上に塗布したポリメタクリレートにせん断力をかけた後、せん断力をかけた後、熱処理、冷却して液晶配向を固定化したものであり、厚みを4μmとしたものを用いた。
図2に示す光学機能性フィルム6において、紫外線吸収剤10を用いず、他の光学機能性フィルムを構成するバリアフィルム7、旋光子8および保護フィルム9の各層については、実施例1と同様にし、厚みが12μmの光学機能性フィルムを用いた。
さらに、JIS規格R3211、R3212で規定される耐貫通性試験と耐衝撃性試験を満足するものであった。

Claims (4)
- ヘッドアップディスプレイに用いる自動車用フロントガラスにおいて、室内側と室外側の2枚の板ガラスを2枚の中間膜を用いて接着し、該2枚の中間膜の間にフィルム状の旋光子を積層してなる光学機能フィルムを挿入し、該光学機能フィルムの厚みが12μm〜22μmであることを特徴とする自動車用フロントガラス。
- 旋光子の厚みが4μm〜5μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車用フロントガラス。
- 2枚の中間膜の合計厚みが760μm以上であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の自動車用フロントガラス。
- 室内側中間膜の厚みを380μm以上とし、室外側中間膜の厚みが室内側中間膜の1〜2倍の厚みであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の自動車用フロントガラス。
