背景技术
随着通信需求的增长，光纤网络在越来越多的领域中扩展。在比如多栋住宅单元、房间、公寓、商业楼等的设施中，光纤配线箱用来给光纤网络提供用户接入点。这些光纤配线箱通过连接至网络集线器的用户电缆连接至光纤网络。然而，光纤配线箱和网络集线器之间所需的用户电缆的长度根据光纤配线箱相对于网络集线器的定位而改变。于是，需要一种能有效地管理用户电缆的变化长度的光纤配线箱。
发明内容
本发明的一个方面涉及一种用于包围光纤接线的光纤配线箱组件。这种光纤配线箱组件包括具有内部区域的壳体和布置于壳体的内部区域中的轴承托架。电缆线轴与轴承托架连接地相接合以使得电缆线轴在壳体内选择性地旋转。终端模块布置于电缆线轴上以使得终端模块与电缆线轴一致地旋转。
本发明的另一个方面涉及一种从光纤配线箱放出光纤电缆的方法。该方法包括绕着光纤配线箱的壳体的轴线旋转电缆线轴(包括绕电缆线轴的缠绕部分盘绕的光纤电缆)，直到放出期望长度的光纤电缆。电缆线轴布置于光纤配线箱的内部区域中并且终端模块布置于电缆线轴上。

现在参照图1，示出了设施13(例如个别住所、房间、公寓、商业楼等)中总体上用11标识的光纤网络的示意图。光纤网络11包括源自中心站(未示出)的馈电电缆15。馈电电缆15进入具有一个或多个产生若干单独光纤的分光器(例如1至8分光器、1至16分光器或1至32分光器)的馈电电缆输入位置17(例如光纤分配集线器、网络接口设备等)。在这个实施例中并且仅以举例的方式，光纤分配集线器17定位于设施13的下层19上。设施13中的每个单元包括总体上用21标识的光纤配线箱，并且用户电缆22从每个光纤配线箱21延伸至光纤分配集线器17。在光纤分配集线器17和光纤配线箱21之间延伸的用户电缆22通常包括多根光纤。

现在参照图3-5，电缆线轴37的轴向端部41还限定松弛存储区域59。松弛存储区域59包括布置于电缆线轴37的轴向端部41上的电缆管理线轴61。电缆管理线轴61定尺寸为使得电缆管理线轴61的外部半径大于光纤的最小弯曲半径以避免在存储期间对光纤的衰减损坏。
电缆管理线轴61和电缆线轴37的轴向端部41配合地限定电缆通道63，其轴向地延伸通过电缆管理线轴61并且通过电缆线轴37的轴向端部41。电缆通道63允许进入光纤的连接器化端部从电缆线轴37的缠绕部分39穿过至松弛存储区域59。进入光纤的连接器化端部然后从松弛存储区域59通向终端区域43中的适配器401的前侧面413。

光纤配线箱21的第二个作用涉及用户电缆22的选择性放线。在电缆线轴37安装至轴承托架71、用户电缆22的第一端与适配器401的前侧面413连接地接合并且输出光纤与适配器401的后侧面脱离时，用户电缆22能通过布置于第一和第二侧壁29、31中的光纤端口79放线。用户电缆22通过绕着轴承托架71的中心轴线77相对于壳体23选择性地旋转电缆线轴37而从光纤配线箱21放出。由于终端模块45布置于电缆线轴37的轴向端部41上，电缆线轴37相对于壳体23的选择性旋转引起终端模块45的选择性旋转。由于终端模块45与电缆线轴37一体地或一致地旋转，用户电缆22的第二端能在用户电缆22的第一端没有被拉出终端模块45之下放线。
一旦已经放出期望长度的用户电缆22，电缆线轴37的旋转停止。这时，电缆线轴37的位置能被固定为使得其不能相对于壳体23旋转。在一个实施例中，销插入通过电缆线轴37的轴向端部41中的开口并且通过壳体23的基部27中的相应开口以固定电缆线轴37相对于壳体23的位置。然而，将理解到，本发明的范围不限于使用销来固定电缆线轴37相对于壳体23的位置。
现在将描述从光纤配线箱21选择性地放出用户电缆22的替代方法。在光纤配线箱21定位于光纤分配集线器17附近时，用户电缆22的第二端从电缆线轴37解开。在一个实施例中，第二端光学地连接至光纤分配集线器17。在用户电缆22的第二端光学地连接至光纤分配集线器17并且用户电缆22的第一端与终端模块45连接地接合时，光纤配线箱21被运输远离光纤分配集线器17。在一个实施例中，光纤配线箱21由安装者运载远离光纤分配集线器17。在另一个实施例中，光纤配线箱21在有轮的小车(例如，手推车、4轮小车等)中运输远离光纤分配集线器17。在优选实施例中，光纤配线箱在运输期间布置于包装封套(例如，盒子)中。在光纤配线箱21被运输远离光纤分配集线器17时，用户电缆22从电缆线轴37解开，引起电缆线轴37在布置于包装封套中的壳体23的内部区域33内旋转。在光纤配线箱21已经被运输至其安装位置时，光纤配线箱21从包装封套移除，安装至安装位置。电缆线轴37能相对于壳体固定就位以防止电缆线轴37的意外旋转。

Claims (17)

1.一种用于包围光纤接线的光纤配线箱组件，其包括：
具有内部区域的壳体；
布置于壳体的内部区域中的轴承托架；
电缆线轴，其与轴承托架相接合以使得电缆线轴在壳体内选择性地旋转；以及
终端模块，其布置于电缆线轴上以使得终端模块与电缆线轴一致地旋转。
2.如权利要求1所述的光纤配线箱组件，其中滚针轴承布置于轴承托架的外表面上。
3.如权利要求1所述的光纤配线箱组件，其中终端模块包括具有适配器槽的适配器板，多个适配器与适配器槽相接合。
4.如权利要求1所述的光纤配线箱组件，其中终端模块包括多个滑动适配器模块。
5.如权利要求1所述的光纤配线箱组件，其中电缆线轴的轴向端部限定电缆通道。
6.如权利要求1所述的光纤配线箱组件，其中电缆线轴的轴向端部限定松弛存储区域。
7.如权利要求6所述的光纤配线箱组件，其中松弛存储区域包括电缆管理线轴。
8.一种从光纤配线箱放出光纤电缆的方法，其包括：
绕着光纤配线箱的壳体的轴线旋转电缆线轴直到放出期望长度的光纤电缆，该电缆线轴包括绕电缆线轴的缠绕部分盘绕的光纤电缆，电缆线轴布置于壳体的内部区域中并且具有布置于电缆线轴上的终端模块。
9.如权利要求8所述的从光纤配线箱放出光纤电缆的方法，其中终端模块布置于电缆线轴的轴向端部上。
10.如权利要求8所述的从光纤配线箱放出光纤电缆的方法，其中终端模块包括多个适配器。
11.如权利要求10所述的从光纤配线箱放出光纤电缆的方法，其中终端模块包括具有适配器槽的适配器板，所述多个适配器与适配器槽相接合。
12.如权利要求10所述的从光纤配线箱放出光纤电缆的方法，其中终端模块包括多个滑动适配器模块。
13.如权利要求8所述的从光纤配线箱放出光纤电缆的方法，其中光纤电缆的第一端的连接器化端部连接至布置于终端模块中的适配器。
14.如权利要求8所述的从光纤配线箱放出光纤电缆的方法，其中所述壳体安装至壁。
15.如权利要求8所述的从光纤配线箱放出光纤电缆的方法，其中光纤配线箱在放出光纤电缆期间包装于装运容器中。
16.如权利要求8所述的从光纤配线箱放出光纤电缆的方法，还包括在已经放出期望长度的光纤电缆时固定电缆线轴相对于壳体的位置。
17.如权利要求16所述的从光纤配线箱放出光纤电缆的方法，其中用销固定电缆线轴相对于壳体的位置。
