Abstract
本发明提供一种改进了开封容易性的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器及其制造方法。该容器的材质为聚酯树脂,且该容器具有待破裂结构,该待破裂结构一体地包括与容器主体相连续的口部(20)、位于该口部(20)上方的待破裂部(30),通过破坏该口部(20)的开口端(22)和该待破裂部(30)的交界部分而进行开口,在该口部(20)的开口端(22)和该待破裂部(30)的交界部分的外表面上沿与该外表面大致垂直的方向形成有槽(40),该槽(40)周边部分的聚酯树脂的极限粘度小于该槽(40)周边部分以外的聚酯树脂的极限粘度。

技术领域
本发明涉及聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器及其制造方法,特别涉及对采用聚酯树脂作为原材料的带有待破裂部的容器的开封容易性所进行的改进。
背景技术
在日本特开2002-321750号公报中公开有一种具有待破裂结构的扭断开启(twist-off)式容器。该公报所公开的发明为本申请人以前申请过的发明,作为该容器的材质,采用的是烯烃树脂。烯烃树脂的热封性能优良,且易于扭断开启或折断开启(snap-off),也不易留下破裂痕迹,因此是最适用于制造带有待破裂部的容器的树脂种类之一。
另一方面,日本于1991年9月制定了特定保健用食品制度,由此以来,许多含有食物纤维的饮料、加钙饮料等开始销售,这些饮料被称为功能性饮料,能发挥出体质调节功能。与烯烃树脂制的容器相比,采用聚酯树脂制的容器具有如下优点:在将上述这种功能性饮料或液状医药品等充填到容器中时,树脂味不易向内装物中扩散,另外,树脂不易与内装物之间发生化学反应,且内装物的成分等不会吸附在树脂上等,由此,人们期望使用聚酯树脂制的容器。

然而,在采用聚酯树脂来制造带有待破裂部的容器的情况下,聚酯树脂的热封性能较差,而且具有粘结性,因此,存在在扭断开启或折断开启时不易折断而产生拉丝现象的问题。
发明内容
本发明是为解决以上问题而做成的,其目的在于提供一种改进了开封容易性的聚酯树脂制的带有待破裂部的容器及其制造方法。
本发明人研究出了如下技术内容,从而完成了本发明:在采用聚酯树脂的带有待破裂部的容器中,对口部的开口端与待破裂部的交界部分的外表面照射激光而形成槽,之后再进行自然冷却或急速冷却,由此使树脂在该槽处薄壁化,进而使该槽周边部分的树脂的极限粘度下降,由此使聚酯树脂变脆,因此能够得到显著改进了开封容易性的聚酯树脂制的带有待破裂部的容器。
即,本发明的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器材质为聚酯树脂,该容器具有待破裂结构,该待破裂结构一体地具有与容器主体相连续的口部、位于该口部上方的待破裂部,通过破坏该口部的开口端与该待破裂部的交界部分而进行开口,该容器的特征在于,在该口部的开口端和该待破裂部的交界部分的外表面上沿与该外表面大致垂直的方向形成有槽,该槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的极限粘度小于该槽周边部分以外的聚酯树脂的极限粘度。
另外,在所述聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器中,所述槽的深度优选为所述槽周边部分厚度的30~90%。另外,在所述聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器中,所述槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的极限粘度优选比该槽周边部分以外的聚酯树脂的极限粘度低10%以上。
另外,在所述聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器中,所述槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的密度优选为1.38g/cm3以下,且为非晶质。
另外,在所述聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器中,所述聚酯树脂为包括如下酸成分和二醇成分的均聚酯树脂或共聚聚酯树脂,其中所述酸成分由包括自己二酸、对苯二甲酸、2,6-萘二甲酸、4,4-联苯羧酸、草酸、琥珀酸、戊二酸、庚二酸、辛二酸、壬二酸、癸二酸、十二烷二酸(dodecanedioic acid)、反式-1,4-环己烷二羧酸、间苯二甲酸中的1种或2种以上,所述二醇成分包括选自乙二醇、三亚甲基二醇(1,3-丙二醇)、四亚甲基二醇(1,4-丁二醇)、五亚甲基二醇、六亚甲基二醇、1,4-己烷二甲醇、双酚A、螺环二醇中的1种或2种以上,优选极限粘度为0.8~1.5dl/g的聚酯树脂。
另外,所述聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器优选具有如下结构,一体地包括:底部、由长方体部分和口颈部分构成的胴部、与该口颈部分连续的口部、由位于该口部上方的球状部分和板状的抓取部分及薄壁部分构成的待破裂部,该口部的开口端由该球状部分密闭,该抓取部分通过薄壁部分与该口部连续,且该抓取部分横跨该口部而垂下到口颈部分,在包括该口部的开口端与该待破裂部的交界部分的、与容器的轴线正交的水平直线上遍及两端的抓取部地形成有槽。
另外,本发明的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法所制造的容器的材质为聚酯树脂,且该容器具有待破裂结构,该待破裂结构一体地具有与容器主体相连续的口部、位于该口部上方的待破裂部,通过破坏该口部的开口端和该待破裂部的交界部分而进行开口,其特征在于,该制造方法至少包括:对该口部的开口端和该待破裂部的交界部分的外表面沿与该外表面大致垂直的方向照射激光而形成槽的槽形成工序;在上述工序之后将该槽自然冷却或急速冷却的冷却工序。
另外,在所述聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法中,所述槽形成工序优选使输出功率为1.0~100W、激光光束直径0.1~5.0mm的激光以10~500mm/sec的速度移动而进行照射。另外,在所述聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法中,自然冷却或急速冷却的冷却工序优选以0~50℃的温度保持0.1~30秒。
另外,在所述聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法中,前述聚酯树脂为包括如下酸成分和二醇成分的均聚酯树脂或共聚聚酯树脂,其中,所述酸成分包括选自己二酸、对苯二甲酸、2,6-萘二甲酸、4,4-联苯羧酸、草酸、琥珀酸、戊二酸、庚二酸、辛二酸、壬二酸、癸二酸、十二烷二酸(dodecanedioic acid)、反式-1,4-环己烷二羧酸、间苯二甲酸中的1种或2种以上,所述二醇成分包括选自乙二醇、三亚甲基二醇(1,3-丙二醇)、四亚甲基二醇(1,4-丁二醇)、五亚甲基二醇、六亚甲基二醇、1,4-己烷二甲醇、双酚A、螺环二醇中的1种或2种以上,优选其极限粘度为0.8~1.5dl/g的聚酯树脂。
另外,在所述聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法中,优选还具有如下工序:从挤压机中挤出聚酯树脂制的预成形体的预成形体挤出工序;利用模具夹入该预成形体而使底部对合进行密封,从开口端注入压力流体而在该预成形体的下部形成胴部及底部的胴底部形成工序;从该预成形体的开口端向该胴部内充填内装物的内装物充填工序;利用模具夹入将该预成形体而使上部对合,在该预成形体的上部形成口部及待破裂部的待破裂结构形成工序。
采用本发明,在采用聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器中,对口部的开口端和待破裂部的交界部分的外表面照射激光而形成槽,之后再进行自然冷却或急速冷却,由此使树脂在该槽处薄壁化,进而使该槽周边部分的树脂的极限粘度下降,由此使聚酯树脂变脆,因此能够得到显著改进了开封容易性的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器。另外,在本发明的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器中,该槽的周边部分的聚酯树脂因被激光加热而进行水解,从而树脂的分子量降低而使聚酯树脂变脆,因此开封容易性得到改进。此外,在本发明的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器中,在特定的条件下照射激光而形成槽,其后进行自然冷却或急速冷却,由此抑制该槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的密度增大,由此使聚酯树脂不会变硬而易于破裂。

具体实施方式
以下,根据附图对本发明的优选实施方式进行说明。
对本发明一实施方式的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器而言,图1表示其主视图;图2表示其侧视图;图3表示其俯视图。
本发明一实施方式的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器10包括:大致长方形的平板状的底部12、由与该底部12连续的大致方筒形的长方体部分14和大致圆筒形的口颈部分16构成的胴部18、与该口径部分16的上方连续的口部20。而且,在口部20的上方一体地具有由中空的球状部分32、板状的抓取部分34和薄壁部分36构成的待破裂部30。该口部20的开口端22被该球状部分32密闭,由底部12、胴部14及口部20构成的容器主体内部呈中空状。另外,在该口部20及该球状部分32的周围形成有薄壁部分36,该薄壁部分36与板状的抓取部分34相连续,该抓取部分34横跨该口部20而垂下到口颈部分16处。另外,为了使薄壁部36易于开封,也可将口部20的基部附近形成为狭缝状,该狭缝也可以一直形成到口部20的开口端22与待破裂部30(球状部分32)的交界部分。于是,该聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器10在使用时,通过破坏该口部20的开口端22和该待破裂部30(球状部分32)的交界部分来打开开口,能将预先充填到容器内部的功能性饮料或液状医药品等内装物取出。
槽的形成
在此,在本发明一实施方式的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器10中,对口部的开口端22和待破裂部30(球状部分32)的交界部分的外表面沿与该外表面大致垂直的方向从两侧照射二氧化碳气体激光,从而形成槽40。即,位于被激光照射的部分的树脂达到熔点以上的温度而升华,从而在外表面上形成截面呈V字形的槽40。另外,该槽40是在包括口部的开口端22和待破裂部30(球状部分32)的交界部分的、与容器轴线正交的水平直线上遍及两端的抓取部分而形成的。于是,通过在该交界部分的外表面上形成该槽40,使树脂在槽40处薄壁化,从而易于破裂。因此,当使所述抓取部分34旋转或弯折时,能容易地破坏口部的开口端22和该待破裂部30(球状部分32)的交界部分而形成开口部。
即,本发明的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的特征在于,在口部的开口端和待破裂部的交界部分的外表面上沿与该外表面大致垂直的方向形成有槽。其中,对该槽的深度没有特别限定,但通常来讲,所述槽的深度优选为所述槽周边部分厚度的30~90%。根据容器种类不同,槽深度也会有所不同,在一般容器的情况下,当槽的深度小于槽周边部分厚度的30%时,有时不能获得槽的形成所带来的效果,另一方面,当槽的深度超过90%时,则会过薄,有可能会在搬运中等因受到轻微冲击就开封。其中,在本实施方式中,所述槽的深度为0.25mm,占所述槽周边部分的厚度0.8mm的大约31%。
另外,在本发明一实施方式的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器10中,也可以在口部的开口端22与待破裂部30的交界部分两侧的薄壁部36形成通孔42,通过形成这种通孔42,能使待破裂部更易于破裂,由扭断开启或折断开启所进行的开封更加容易。
槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的极限粘度
在本发明一实施方式的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器10中,在如上所述地照射二氧化碳气体激光而形成槽40之后,使该槽40自然冷却或急速冷却。在此,在槽40周边部分未升华而留下的聚酯树脂会因所述激光的照射而熔融,从而使树脂的极限粘度降低。于是由此,该槽周边部分的聚酯树脂变脆,易于破裂。
因此,本发明的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的特征在于,槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的极限粘度小于槽周边部分以外的聚酯树脂的极限粘度。更具体而言,槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的极限粘度优选比槽周边部分以外的聚酯树脂的极限粘度低10%以上。其中,在本实施方式中,槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的极限粘度为0.85dl/g,比槽周边部分以外的聚酯树脂的极限粘度1.0dl/g低大约15%。
另外,在本发明一实施方式的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器10中,位于槽40周边部分的聚酯树脂在经所述激光照射而熔融后,吸收空气中的水分而被水解,由此分子量降低。由此,聚酯树脂变脆、易于破裂。
槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的密度
通常,在对聚酯树脂照射激光而使其升华、熔融,长时间维持熔融状态时,熔融部分的聚酯树脂产生球晶体化而密度增大,结果,聚酯树脂变硬,在扭断开启或折断开启时不易折断。对此,在本发明一实施方式的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器10中,在特定条件下照射激光而形成槽10,之后进行自然冷却或急速冷却,由此抑制该槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的密度增大,表示出与槽周边部分以外的聚酯树脂的密度大致相同的值。于是由此,聚酯树脂不会变硬而易于破裂。
因此,在本发明的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器中,该槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的密度优选在1.38g/cm3以下,且为非晶质。其中,在本实施方式中,具体而言,是使输入功率为30W、激光光束直径为0.2mm的激光以10~25mm/sec的速度直线移动进行照射后,经自然冷却,从300℃经过5秒钟后变为70℃,槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的密度为1.38g/cm3。另外,在进行急速冷却的情况下,会以比所述自然冷却时的230℃/5sec的速度快的冷却速度来进行冷却。
聚酯树脂
在本发明的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器中,容器的材质为聚酯树脂。对本发明中使用的聚酯树脂并没有特别限定,作为优选例,例如为包括如下酸成分和二醇成分的均聚酯树脂或共聚聚酯树脂,其中所述酸成分包括选自己二酸、对苯二甲酸、2,6-萘二甲酸、4,4-联苯羧酸、草酸、琥珀酸、戊二酸、庚二酸、辛二酸、壬二酸、癸二酸、十二烷二酸、反式-1,4-环己烷二羧酸、间苯二甲酸中的1种或2种以上,所述二醇成分包括选自乙二醇、三亚甲基二醇(1,3-丙二醇)、四亚甲基二醇(1,4-丁二醇)、五亚甲基二醇、六亚甲基二醇、1,4-己烷二甲醇、双酚A、螺环二醇中的1种或2种以上,可举出其极限粘度为0.8~1.5dl/g的聚酯树脂,优选极限粘度为0.8~1.3dl/g的聚酯树脂。
作为本发明所采用的聚酯树脂的优选具体例,例如可列举出如下酸成分和二醇成分获得的聚酯树脂,其中酸成分为对苯二甲酸,作为二醇成分为在96mol%乙二醇中添加4mol%1,4-环己烷二甲醇或双酚A而成的二醇成分。以上所得的聚酯树脂,极限粘度约为1.0dl/g,在直接吹塑成型(direct blow molding)时不会产生垂伸(draw down)情况,且其熔点为约235~245℃,比一般的聚酯树脂要低10~30℃,能低温成形,所以能急速冷却,此外,其结晶化速度较慢,所以成形性良好,能有效用作本发明中的聚酯树脂。
制造方法
本发明的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法的特征在于,该制造方法包括:对口部的开口端和待破裂部的交界部分的外表面沿与该外表面大致垂直的方向照射激光而形成槽的槽形成工序;在上述工序之后将该槽自然冷却或急速冷却的冷却工序。
本发明的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法只要具有以上工序即可,对其他工序没有特别限制,但在不必使用热封成形这一点上,优选使用直接吹塑成型法。
采用直接吹塑成型法的本发明一实施方式的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法如图4的(a)~(f)的工序顺序所示。
首先,如图4的(a)所示,当从挤压机50中挤压出的管状的预成形体(通常称为型坯(parison))52达到规定长度时,分为两部分的胴部模具54和分为两部分的辅助模具56一起闭合而夹入预成形体52,在上述两部分的胴部模具54的内侧形成聚酯树脂制容器的底部12以及由长方体部分14和口颈部分16构成的胴部18的外表面形状;上述辅助模具56与预成形体52的外表面相抵接。于是,如图4的(b)所示,预成形体52的底部被密封,同时预成形体52的上部利用切刀58的动作而被切断。
预成形体12被切断时带有导管的盖子60立即移动而如图4的(c)所示地盖在辅助模具56上,在无菌状态下从导管中向预成形体52内部吹入10atm的压缩空气等加压流体,利用胴部模具54将预成形体52的下方成形为底部12以及由长方体部分14和口颈部分16构成的胴部18。接下来,卸掉带有导管的盖子60,如图4的(d)所示,在已形成了胴部5的预成形体52内部插入充填喷管(nozzle)62,充填功能性饮料或液状医药品等内装物。
内装物的充填结束后,将充填喷管62拔出并打开辅助模具56,如图4的(e)所示,闭合待破裂部成形模具64而在胴部18的上方形成待破裂结构,上述待破裂部成形模具64的内侧形成口部20以及由球状部分32、抓取部分34和薄壁部分36构成的待破裂部30的外表面形状。
已形成了待破裂结构的聚酯树脂制容器10如图4的(f)所示,在包括开口部的开口端22和待破裂部30的交界部分的、与容器的轴线正交的水平直线上遍及两端的抓取部地照射二氧化碳气体激光。通过激光的照射,被照射了激光的部分达到熔点以上的温度而熔融、升华,表面成为截面呈V字形的沿水平方向延伸的槽40。其中,该激光照射从两侧进行,至少照射到口部的开口端22和待破裂部30的交界部分的外表面即可。另外,对该槽形成工序中的激光并无特别限定,但优选例如使输出功率为1.0~100W、激光光束直径为0.1~5.0mm的激光以10~500mm/sec的速度移动而进行照射。当激光的照射条件在以上范围以外时,尤其是激光照射时间较长时,有时会出现槽周边部分的聚酯树脂产生球晶体化而密度增大、聚酯树脂变硬、扭断开启或折断开启时难于折断的情况。在本实施方式中,使输出功率为30W、激光光束直径为0.2mm的激光以10~25mm/sec的速度直线移动而进行照射。
另外,在本发明一实施方式的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器10中,通过沿包括口部的开口端22和待破裂部30的交界部分的水平线照射上述状态的激光,从而在该交界部分两侧的薄壁部形成通孔42。于是,通过形成这种通孔42,能够使待破裂部更容易破裂,从而更易于通过扭断开启或折断开启来开封。其中,所照射的激光也可以仅对口部的开口端22和待破裂部30的交界部分进行点照射,可进行适当变更。
如以上所述那样通过照射激光来形成槽40之后,通过放置来使槽40自然冷却或急速冷却。其中,在该冷却工序中,例如可在0~50℃的条件下保持0.1~30秒,优选在10~20℃的条件下保持5~10秒。在激光照射后,在聚酯树脂的熔融温度以上或在该温度附近维持较长时间时,槽周边部分的聚酯树脂往往会产生球晶体化而密度变大,聚酯树脂会变硬,在扭断开启或折断开启时不易折断。
采用如上所述这样制造的本发明的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器,通过对口部的开口端和待破裂部的交界部分的外表面照射激光而形成槽,之后再进行自然冷却或急速冷却,能使树脂在该槽处薄壁化,并能使该槽周边部分的树脂的极限粘度下降,由此能使该槽的周边部分的聚酯树脂变脆,因此能获得显著改进了开封容易性的聚酯树脂制的带有待破裂部的容器。

1.一种聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器,该容器的材质为聚酯树脂,该容器具有待破裂结构,该待破裂结构一体地包括与容器主体相连续的口部、位于该口部上方的待破裂部,通过破坏该口部的开口端和该待破裂部的交界部分而进行开口,其特征在于,
在该口部的开口端和该待破裂部的交界部分的外表面上沿与该外表面大致垂直的方向形成有槽,
该槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的极限粘度小于该槽周边部分以外的聚酯树脂的极限粘度。
2.根据权利要求1所述的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器,其特征在于,
所述槽的深度为所述槽周边部分厚度的30~90%。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器,其特征在于,
所述槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的极限粘度比该槽周边部分以外的聚酯树脂的极限粘度低10%以上。

所述该槽周边部分的聚酯树脂的密度为1.38g/cm3以下,且为非晶质。

该容器一体地具有:底部、由长方体部分和口颈部分构成的胴部、与该口颈部分连续的口部、由位于该口部上方的球状部分和板状的抓取部分及薄壁部分构成的待破裂部,该口部的开口端由该球状部分密闭,该抓取部分通过薄壁部分与该口部连续,且该抓取部分横跨该口部而垂下到口颈部分,在包括该口部的开口端与该待破裂部的交界部分的、与容器轴线正交的水平直线上遍及两端的抓取部分地形成有槽。
7.一种聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法,该容器的材质为聚酯树脂,该容器具有待破裂结构,该待破裂结构一体地包括与容器主体相连续的口部、位于该口部上方的待破裂部,通过破坏该口部的开口端和该待破裂部的交界部分而进行开口,其特征在于,该制造方法至少包括:
对该口部的开口端和该待破裂部的交界部分的外表面沿与该外表面大致垂直的方向照射激光而形成槽的槽形成工序;
在上述工序之后将该槽自然冷却或急速冷却的冷却工序。
8.根据权利要求7所述的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法,其特征在于,
所述槽形成工序使输出功率为1.0~100W、激光光束直径0.1~5.0mm的激光以10~500mm/sec的速度移动而进行照射。
9.根据权利要求7或8所述的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法,其特征在于,
急速冷却的冷却工序以0~50℃的温度保持0.1~30秒。
10.根据权利要求7~9中任一项所述的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法,其特征在于,
所述聚酯树脂为包括如下酸成分和二醇成分的均聚酯树脂或共聚聚酯树脂,其中所述酸成分包括选自己二酸、对苯二甲酸、2,6-萘二甲酸、4,4-联苯羧酸、草酸、琥珀酸、戊二酸、庚二酸、辛二酸、壬二酸、癸二酸、十二烷二酸、反式-1,4-环己烷二羧酸、间苯二甲酸中的1种或2种以上,所述二醇成分包括选自乙二醇、三亚甲基二醇(1,3-丙二醇)、四亚甲基二醇(1,4-丁二醇)、五亚甲基二醇、六亚甲基二醇、1,4-己烷二甲醇、双酚A、螺环二醇中的1种或2种以上,所述聚酯树脂的极限粘度为0.8~1.5dl/g。
11.根据权利要求7~10中任一项所述的聚酯树脂制带有待破裂部的容器的制造方法,其特征在于,还包括如下工序:
从挤压机中挤出聚酯树脂制的预成形体的预成形体挤出工序;
利用模具夹入该预成形体而使底部对合进行密封,从开口端注入压力流体而在该预成形体的下部形成胴部及底部的胴底部形成工序;
从该预成形体的开口端向该胴部内充填内装物的内装物充填工序;
利用模具夹入该预成形体而使上部对合,在该预成形体的上部形成口部及待破裂部的待破裂结构形成工序。
