Abstract

本发明公开一种发光二极管灯具,其包括一灯具外壳、一发光二极管光源、一散热器以及一控制电路。灯具外壳具有一容置空间、多个进气口以及多个出气口,且容置空间通过进气口以及出气口与外界连通。发光二极管光源与散热器皆配置在容置空间内,且散热器与发光二极管光源连接,其中散热器包括一底座以及多个与底座连接的散热鳍片,任二相邻的散热鳍片之间存在有一气体对流通道,且存在于外界的气体适于从进气孔流入容置空间内,并依序经由气体对流通道与出气口离开容置空间。控制电路配置在灯具外壳内,并与发光二极管光源电连接。

Description

发光二极管灯具
技术领域
本发明涉及一种发光二极管灯具(light-emitting diode lamp,LED lamp),且特别是涉及一种具有良好的散热效能的发光二极管灯具。
背景技术
发光二极管(LED)属于半导体元件,其发光芯片的材料主要使用III-V族化学元素,如:磷化镓(GaP)、砷化镓(GaAs)等化合物半导体,其发光原理是将电能转换为光,也就是对化合物半导体施加电流,通过电子与电洞的结合,将过剩的能量以光的形式释出,而达成发光的效果。由于发光二极管的发光现象不是通过加热发光或放电发光,因此发光二极管的寿命长达十万小时以上,且无需暖灯时间(idling time)。此外,发光二极管更具有反应速度快(约为10-9秒)、体积小、用电省、污染低、高可靠度、适合量产等优点,所以发光二极管所能应用的领域十分广泛如大型看板、交通号志灯、手机、扫描器、传真机的光源以及照明装置等。
近来,由于发光二极管的发光亮度与发光效率持续地提升,同时高亮度的白光发光二极管也被成功地量产,所以逐渐有白光发光二极管被使用在照明装置中,如室内的灯光照明以及户外的路灯照明等。一般而言,高功率的发光二极管皆面临了散热方面的问题,若发光二极管在过高的温度情况下操作,将有可能导致发光二极管灯具所能提供的光线亮度衰减,且有寿命下降等问题。因此,发光二极管灯具的散热设计已成为研发人员关注的议题之一。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种发光二极管灯具,其具有良好的散热效能与较长的使用寿命。
本发明提出一种发光二极管灯具,其包括一灯具外壳、一发光二极管光源、一散热器以及一控制电路。灯具外壳具有一容置空间、多个进气口以及多个出气口,且容置空间通过进气口以及出气口与外界连通。发光二极管光源与散热器皆配置在容置空间内,且散热器与发光二极管光源连接,其中散热器包括一底座以及多个与底座连接的散热鳍片,任二相邻的散热鳍片之间存在有一气体对流通道,且存在于外界的气体适于从进气孔流入容置空间内,并依序经由气体对流通道与出气口离开容置空间。控制电路配置在灯具外壳内,并与发光二极管光源电连接。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的灯具外壳包括一用以容纳散热器的第一盖体、一灯罩、一第二盖体以及一导电灯头。灯罩与第一盖体连接,且发光二极管光源位于灯罩内。第二盖体与第一盖体连接以使第一盖体位于灯罩与第二盖体之间。导电灯头与第二盖体连接以使第二盖体位于导电灯头与第一盖体之间。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的第一盖体的材质包括绝缘材质,如掺杂有氧化锌的绝缘材质。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的第二盖体的材质包括绝缘材质,如掺杂有氧化锌的绝缘材质。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的第一盖体具有进气口,而第二盖体具有出气口,其中进气口可为一开放式进气口或一半开放式进气口,而出气口可为一开放式出气口或一半开放式出气口。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的进气口为一条状进气口,且这些条状进气口排列成栅状。此外,前述的条状进气口例如是分别对应于散热器的其中一个气体对流通道。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的第一盖体具有出气口,而第二盖体具有进气口,其中进气口可为一开放式进气口或一半开放式进气口,而出气口可为一开放式出气口或一半开放式出气口。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的出气口为一条状出气口,且这些条状出气口排列成栅状。此外,前述的条状出气口例如是分别对应于散热器的其中一个气体对流通道。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的发光二极管光源为发光二极管封装体或是其他型态的发光二极管光源。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的底座与散热鳍片的材质相同或不同。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的控制电路是一电路板。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的电路板具有至少一开孔,以利气体在容置空间内流动。
在本发明的一实施例中,发光二极管灯具可进一步包括一配置在容置空间内的风扇,其中风扇适于强制外界的气体从进气孔流入容置空间内,并依序经由气体对流通道与出气口离开容置空间。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的风扇配置在底座上,且散热鳍片环绕风扇。
在本发明的一实施例中,上述的风扇与发光二极管光源分别配置于底座的两侧。
由于本发明的发光二极管灯具利用内建的散热器与气体对流的方式进行散热,因此发光二极管灯具的操作温度能够维持在容许范围内。换言之,本发明的发光二极管灯具不易因过热而损坏。
为让本发明的上述和其他目的、特征和优点能更明显易懂,下文特举较佳实施例,并配合所附附图,作详细说明如下。

第一实施例
图1为本发明第一实施例的发光二极管灯具的示意图。请参照图1,本实施例的发光二极管灯具100包括一灯具外壳110、一发光二极管光源120、一散热器130以及一控制电路140。灯具外壳110具有一容置空间110a、多个进气口110b以及多个出气口110c,且容置空间110a通过进气口110b以及出气口110c与外界连通。发光二极管光源120与散热器130皆配置在容置空间110a内,且散热器130与发光二极管光源120连接,其中散热器130包括一底座132以及多个与底座132连接的散热鳍片134。由图1可知,任二相邻的散热鳍片134之间存在有一气体对流通道136,且存在于外界的气体适于从进气孔110b流入容置空间110a内,并依序经由气体对流通道136与出气口110c离开容置空间110a。此外,控制电路140配置在灯具外壳110的容置空间110a内,并与发光二极管光源120电连接。
上述的灯具外壳110、发光二极管光源120、散热器130以及控制电路140的型态可以有多种变化,而图1所绘示出的结构设计仅是用以举例说明,以让此领域具有通常知识者能够据以实施本发明,然其并非用以限定本发明所欲涵盖的范畴。
由图1可知,本实施例的发光二极管灯具100为一发光二极管灯泡(LEDlight bulb),而此发光二极管灯泡例如是E27灯泡、E26灯泡、E14灯泡或其他规格的灯泡。详言之,本实施例的灯具外壳110包括一用以容纳散热器130的第一盖体112、一灯罩114、一第二盖体116以及一导电灯头118。其中灯罩114与第一盖体112连接,且发光二极管光源120位于灯罩114内。第二盖体116与第一盖体112连接以使第一盖体112位于灯罩114与第二盖体116之间。此外,导电灯头118与第二盖体116连接以使第二盖体116位于导电灯头118与第一盖体112之间。承上述,本实施例的导电灯头118例如是E27灯头、E26灯头、E14灯头或其他规格的灯头。
一般而言,为了确保使用者在使用上的安全性,通常会采用绝缘材质(如塑胶)来制作第一盖体112与第二盖体116,以避免触电的情况发生。然而,本发明并不限定第一盖体112与第二盖体116必须以相同的绝缘材质来制作,且根据不同产品需求,第一盖体112与第二盖体116也可采用导电材质来制作。
在本发明的一较佳实施例中,第一盖体112与第二盖体116的材质例如是掺杂有氧化锌的绝缘材质。由于掺杂有氧化锌的绝缘材质具有遮蔽电磁波干扰(Electro-Magnetic Interference shielding,EMI shielding)的功能,因此具有氧化锌成分的第一盖体112与第二盖体116可以有效遮蔽从发光二极管灯具100所产生的电池波,以降低电池波对于使用者的伤害。此外,第一盖体112与第二盖体116可以采用注塑成型技术进行制作,而掺杂有氧化锌的绝缘材质在所制作出的第一盖体112与第二盖体116在脱膜之后较不易产生严重的形变(deformation),故第一盖体112与第二盖体116的制造合格率可以获得提升。
由图1可知,发光二极管光源120是一个已经过封装的发光二极管封装体,而此封装体例如是表面粘着型态的封装体(SMD type packge)或是其他型态的封装体。在本实施例中,发光二极管光源120可通过焊锡(solder material)焊接在散热器130上,以使得发光二极管光源120所产生的热能够有效地传送至散热器130上。当然,本实施例也可采用导热胶(thermal paste)配合螺丝锁固的方式来进行发光二极管光源120与散热器130之间的接合。
在本实施例中,散热器130可以采用单一材质或是多种材质进行制作,换言之,散热器130中的底座132与散热鳍片134可以采用相同或是不同材质来制作。一般而言,散热器130的材质包括铜、铝、金属合金或其他导热特性良好的材质。
在本实施例中,控制电路140是一独立于发光二极管光源120外的电路板,此电路板可为具有单层线路或是多层线路的电路板。为了让容置空间110a内的气体对流更为顺畅,本实施例可在电路板上制作出一个或是多个开孔142。而然,在本发明的其他实施例中,控制电路140可以是以芯片的型态呈现,当控制电路140是以芯片的型态呈现时,控制电路140可以被整合于发光二极管光源120内,以进一步缩减发光二极管灯具内部的元件体积。除此之外,控制电路140也可被整合于发光二极管光源120内部的电路板中。
灯具外壳110上的进气孔110b与出气口110c是根据容置空间110a内的气体对流方向而限定的,当容置空间110a内的气体是从第一盖体110往第二盖体120的方向流动时,第一盖体112上的开口即限定为进气口110b(如图2A与图2B所绘示),而第二盖体120上的开口则限定为出气口110c(如图3A与图3B所绘示)。反之,当容置空间110a内的气体是从第二盖体120往第一盖体110的方向流动时,第一盖体112上的开口即限定为出气口110c(如图2A与图2B所绘示),而第二盖体120上的开口则限定为进气口110b(如图3A与图3B所绘示)。
请同时参照图1、图2A与图2B,第一盖体112上的开口(进气口110b或是出气孔110c)例如是条状的开口(条状进气口或是条状出气口),而这些条状开口会排列成栅状,且这些条状开口例如是分别对应于散热器的其中一个气体对流通道136。此设计有助于发光二极管灯具的散热。
图2A为具有开放式进气口或开放式出气口的第一盖体的示意图,而图2B为具有半开放式进气口或半开放式出气口的第一盖体的示意图。请参照图2A与图2B,当使用者能够通过进气口110b或出气口110c能够直接观察到位于第一盖体112内的情况时,这些进气口110b或出气口110c便是所谓的开放式进气口110b或开放式出气口110c(如图2A所示);当使用者能够通过进气口110b或出气口110c无法直接观察到位于第一盖体112内的情况时,这些进气口110b或出气口110c便是所谓的半开放式进气口110b或半开放式出气口110c(如图2B所示)。
图3A为具有开放式进气口或开放式出气口的第二盖体的示意图,而图3B为具有半开放式进气口或半开放式出气口的第二盖体的示意图。请参照图3A与图3B,同样地,当使用者能够通过进气口110b或出气口110c能够直接观察到位于第二盖体116内的情况时,这些进气口110b或出气口110c便是所谓的开放式进气口110b或开放式出气口110c(如图3A所示);当使用者能够通过进气口110b或出气口110c无法直接观察到位于第二盖体116内的情况时,这些进气口110b或出气口110c便是所谓的半开放式进气口110b或半开放式出气口110c(如图3B所示)。
第二实施例
图4为本发明第二实施例的发光二极管灯具的示意图。请参照图2,本实施例的发光二极管灯具100’与第一实施例类似,惟二者主要差异之处在于:本实施例的发光二极管灯具100’进一步包括一配置在容置空间110a内的风扇150,其中风扇150适于强制外界的气体从进气孔110b流入容置空间110a内,并依序经由气体对流通道136与出气口110c离开容置空间110a。从图4可知,风扇150配置在底座132上,且散热鳍片134会环绕风扇150。当风扇150被开启时,容置空间110a内的气体对流会更加旺盛,使得发光二极管灯具100’能够在较低的温度下操作。值得注意的是,在本实施例中,风扇150与发光二极管光源120分别配置于底座132的两侧。
第三实施例
图5A与图5B为本发明的第三实施例中风扇、控制电路、散热器以及发光二极管光源的相对位置示意图。请参照图5A与图5B,在本实施例与第二实施例类似,在本实施例中,散热器130的一侧具有一第一凹槽130a,用以容纳发光二极管光源120,控制电路140(如电路板)则配置于散热器130的另一侧。此外,由图5A与图5B可知,控制电路140是位于风扇150与散热器130之间。在本实施例中,发光二极管光源120可通过焊锡焊接在散热器130上,以使得发光二极管光源120所产生的热能够有效地传送至散热器130上。当然,本实施例也可采用导热胶配合螺丝锁固的方式来进行发光二极管光源120与散热器130之间的接合。
值得注意的是,本实施例所使用的散热器130可以选择性地具有一第二凹槽130b(绘示于图5B),用以容纳控制电路140。由图5B可知,第二凹槽130b不但可以让整体体积进一步的缩小,还可以让风扇150更为接近散热器130,以达到更佳的散热效能。
承上述,本发明的发光二极管灯具内的各个元件尚可采用其他种排列方式,本发明上述实施例并非用以限定各个元件的排列方式。
综上所述,本发明利用内建于发光二极管灯具内部的散热器进行散热,可有效地将发光二极管灯具的操作温度维持在可容忍的范围内,进而增进发光二极管灯具的使用寿命。
虽然本发明已以较佳实施例揭露如上,然其并非用以限定本发明,任何熟习此技艺者,在不脱离本发明的精神和范围内,当可作些许的更动与润饰,因此本发明的保护范围当视所附的权利要求所界定者为准。

Claims (24)

1.一种发光二极管灯具,包括:
灯具外壳,具有容置空间、多个进气口以及多个出气口,其中该容置空间通过该些进气口以及该些出气口与外界连通;
发光二极管光源,配置在该容置空间内;

2.如权利要求1所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该灯具外壳包括:
第一盖体,用以容纳该散热器;
灯罩,与该第一盖体连接,其中该发光二极管光源位于该灯罩内;
第二盖体,与该第一盖体连接,其中该第一盖体位于该灯罩与该第二盖体之间;以及
导电灯头,与该第二盖体连接,其中该第二盖体位于该导电灯头与该第一盖体之间。
3.如权利要求2所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该第一盖体的材质包括绝缘材质。
4.如权利要求3所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该第一盖体的材质包括掺杂有氧化锌的绝缘材质。
5.如权利要求2所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该第二盖体的材质包括绝缘材质。
6.如权利要求5所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该第二盖体的材质包括掺杂有氧化锌的绝缘材质。
7.如权利要求2所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该第一盖体具有该些进气口,而该第二盖体具有该些出气口。
8.如权利要求7所述的发光二极管灯具,其中各该进气口为开放式进气口或半开放式进气口。
9.如权利要求7所述的发光二极管灯具,其中各该出气口为开放式出气口或半开放式出气口。
10.如权利要求7所述的发光二极管灯具,其中各该进气口为条状进气口,且该些条状进气口排列成栅状。
11.如权利要求10所述的发光二极管灯具,其中各该条状进气口分别对应于该散热器的其中一个气体对流通道。
12.如权利要求2所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该第一盖体具有该些出气口,而该第二盖体具有该些进气口。
13.如权利要求12所述的发光二极管灯具,其中各该进气口为开放式进气口或半开放式进气口。
14.如权利要求12所述的发光二极管灯具,其中各该出气口为开放式出气口或半开放式出气口。
15.如权利要求12所述的发光二极管灯具,其中各该出气口为条状出气口,且该些条状出气口排列成栅状。
16.如权利要求15所述的发光二极管灯具,其中各该条状出气口分别对应于该散热器的其中一个气体对流通道。
17.如权利要求1所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该发光二极管光源包括发光二极管封装体。
18.如权利要求1所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该底座与该些散热鳍片的材质相同。
19.如权利要求1所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该底座与该些散热鳍片的材质不同。
20.如权利要求1所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该控制电路包括电路板。
21.如权利要求20所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该电路板具有至少一开孔。
22.如权利要求1所述的发光二极管灯具,更包括风扇,配置在该容置空间内,其中该风扇适于强制外界的气体从该些进气孔流入该容置空间内,并依序经由该些气体对流通道与该些出气口离开该容置空间。
23.如权利要求22所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该风扇配置在该底座上,且该些散热鳍片环绕该风扇。
24.如权利要求22所述的发光二极管灯具,其中该风扇与该发光二极管光源分别配置于该底座的两侧。
