技术领域

背景技术
通常需要使用封闭物密封瓶、罐或者其它容器以保持其内容物的新鲜或者指示是否容器被损害。但是,也期望该封闭物容易由使用者移除。例如,美国第5,433,992号专利,其内容在此处被引入作为参考,该专利描述了用于容器的顶部突起的封闭物,其具有用来密封容器的隔膜和连接到隔膜顶部的薄片,所述薄片以使其拉片部以分离的方式连接到所述隔膜顶部。试图得到容器中的内容物的使用者用他们的手指简单地抓住该拉片,并且通过拉动该连接到薄片上的拉片,就可以移除整个封闭物,并且以较方便的方式得到容器中的内容物。

本发明还涉及一种拉片密封部件,具有顶部侧和构造成固定到容器开口周围的唇缘以封闭容器的底部侧,所述拉片密封部件包括:底部部件,包括具有面向容器的底部表面、与其相对的顶部表面的金属箔层和具有顶部表面的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层,使用粘结剂将所述非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层粘结到所述金属箔层的顶部表面上,还包括设置在所述金属箔层的底部表面上的下部聚合物层,所述下部聚合物层包括热活性密封剂或者热活性粘结剂涂层;所述非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层具有至少约为2.5密耳的厚度、以及至少约为0.96g/cm3的密度,从而所述非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层有效地将热量从所述金属箔层的感应热均匀地朝向所述下部聚合物层改流,以将所述热活性密封剂或者热活性粘接剂涂层固定到所述容器;以及顶部部件,包括顶部表面和底部表面,并且所述顶部部件的一部分包括具有顶部和底部表面的拉片部,所述拉片部的所述底部表面没有固定到所述底部部件的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的所述顶部表面,并且所述顶部部件的底部表面的一部分固定到所述底部部件的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的顶部表面上,所述顶部部件以足够的强度被固定到所述底部部件上,以当所述底部部件的底部表面处的热活性密封剂或者热活性粘结剂涂层被固定到容器时,所述底部部件能够通过拉动拉片部而被移除;其中分离带设置在所述拉片部的底部表面处,定位为面向所述底部部件的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的顶部表面的一部分且构造为辅助防止所述拉片部粘结到所述底部部件上,其中所述分离带包括PET,且其中所述分离带具有设置在其底部表面上的分离材料层,所述分离材料具有比PET层弱的粘结到所述非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的特性。
通常来说,根据本发明,为例如瓶、罐等密封容器提供了一种密封件和制造方法。该密封件(即,封闭物)形成有下部片状结构,该下部片状结构上具有非泡沫、热分布层。该下部结构包括支撑箔层,且在下部具有例如PET薄膜的聚合物层。热活性密封剂层设置在PET层的底表面,以将密封件连接(即,粘结)到容器的开口。根据要密封的容器,PET薄膜可以被涂覆有合适的材料,这种合适的材料将粘结到各种类型的容器上。非泡沫、热分布层优选是聚烯烃薄膜层。根据本发明的优选实施方式的密封件还包括顶部,其部分地粘结到(直接或者间接)底部,以留出从密封件延伸的拉片部。顶部有利地从外围粘结到底部的外围,并且位于或者稍微偏离于底部的直径(中间)。顶部有利地由聚合物材料形成,例如乙烯醋酸乙烯酯(EVA)层,其具有粘结到它的顶部的PET层。分离带,其可以具有涂覆在它的底部上的分离层,分离带可以被粘结到顶部结构,并且用来防止拉片粘结到下部结构上。分离层可以由PET或者覆盖有PET、纸、尼龙或者聚丙烯的硅分离层的形成。
为了形成根据本发明的密封件,在于片层之间插入分离带之后,将底部材料的第一层叠片层叠到顶部材料片。分离带可以被粘结到顶部材料,并且可以印刷有文字材料或者说明。分离带的底部可以涂覆有促进分离物质,以防止顶部片在突出带的位置粘结到底部片。然后例如盘形的密封件可以从该片上冲切出。每个盘在平面视图上具有包括分离带的约一半的面积。所形成的密封件在底侧表面具有粘结剂,并且在顶部上具有粘结到一半密封件上的抓握片。这种密封件可以被粘结到容器的顶部以密封其内容物。
有利的是,本发明的拉片密封部件呈现出热活性粘结剂的改进的热分布,使得密封部件更好地粘结到容器。由于由本发明的拉片密封部件呈现出的这种改进的密封特性,所以至少最小化或者避免了已有技术的密封件所具有的缺陷。本发明的这些以及其它优点从下面陈述的详细说明中可以变得更加显而易见。

具体实施方式
根据本发明的优选实施方式构成的用于容器的拉片密封部件(即封闭物)总体在图3中显示为密封件300。为了说明,图3中所示的层的相对厚度没有按照比例。此外,所示的结构只是为了解释说明,不是为了解释为限定作用。
密封件300由底部层叠片301和顶部层叠片302构成。底部片301包括金属箔支撑层310,其下部上具有下聚合物层320,且其顶表面上具有非泡沫、热分布层330。金属箔支撑层310优选为铝箔,但是可以容易地由其它金属代替。支撑层310的厚度优选为约0.0005到0.0020英寸。
下聚合物层320有利地由聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯(PET)形成,优选其厚度在约0.0004到0.0015英寸的范围内。其它合适的材料包括尼龙、PEN和聚丙烯。下部片301的底面有利地涂覆有热活性密封剂或者粘结剂340。粘结剂的类型部分地基于容器的特性。合适的热活性粘结剂(此处使用的术语密封剂包括适合将根据本发明的容器密封件粘结到容器上的热活性粘结剂)包括但并不局限于乙烯醋酸乙烯酯、乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物、沙林树脂(srulyn)以及本领域公知的其它材料。
底部片301的顶表面(层330)优选具有非泡沫、热分布层330。根据本发明,层330由呈现出隔热属性以及在从密封的容器移除该封闭物时防撕裂或者破裂的任何非泡沫、聚合体的材料形成。在一个优选实施方式中,非泡沫、热分布层330是聚烯烃薄膜层。聚烯烃薄膜层可以是单层或者与结合层(tielayer)共挤的两层石蜡树脂形成的双层。要使用的聚烯烃树脂的例子包括但不局限于聚乙烯、聚丙烯、乙烯-聚乙烯共聚物及其混合物和共聚物或与高级α-石蜡的混合物。聚烯烃薄膜层的厚度优选至少约0.0025英寸(2.5密耳),更优选为至少0.0030英寸(3密耳),甚至更加优选为至少0.0035英寸(3.5密耳)。但是,影响均匀热分布和抗撕裂所需要的实际厚度要根据使用的聚烯烃树脂的类型。聚合体的例如密度和熔融指数的属性是可变的,并且将影响材料的隔热和抗撕裂属性,这对于本领域技术人员来说是显而易见的。在一个优选实施方式中,要用作薄膜层的聚烯烃树脂的密度至少约0.96克/立方厘米(g/cm3),更优选为0.97g/cm3,甚至更加优选为0.98g/cm3。总之,聚烯烃薄膜层的厚度也应该优选为不厚于约0.010英寸,更优选为不大于0.008英寸。大于这些参数的厚度通常增加密封部件的体积、具有最小的额外利益且成本效益低。
顶部层叠片302优选形成有聚合物支撑350,其有利地包括在其底面上的聚合物层360。支撑350优选由强抗热片状材料形成,其可以以较小的厚度保持其强度并且具有高的抗拉强度。优选的材料是PET,其它合适的材料包括PEN和尼龙。聚合物层360有利地由EVA形成,并且其厚度有利地为0.001到0.003英寸。EVA是优选的,因为其具有热粘合特性,从而它容易粘结到层330。如果层360太厚,那么它很难获得满意的粘结。如果它太薄,那么粘结强度可能不够。其它合适的材料包括低密度聚乙烯、乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物、乙烯-甲基丙烯酸共聚物。
顶部片302还包括拉片部303。拉片部303没有粘结到底部片301,并且可以被向上且远离底部片301折叠,以提供用于从容器的顶部移除密封件300的抓握拉片。顶部片302还包括粘结到底部片301的连接部304。在拉片部303和连接部304之间的分界面上存在边界305。边界305有利地从密封件300的边缘到边缘直线延伸。边界305有利地位于或者接近密封件300的中间。
拉片303的下部有利地包括分离带(突出的带)370,优选在其下部具有分离材料涂层371。分离带370和分离涂层371辅助防止拉片部303粘结到底部片301的顶部。分离带370优选由PET形成,例如白PET,并且其上有利地包括文字材料、图片及其它信息。其它合适的材料包括尼龙和聚丙烯。分离层370的厚度有利地为0.00045到0.0010英寸,并且优选占据拉片部303的整个下面,基本上到达边界305。用于分离涂层371的合适材料包括各种已知的抗热涂层,优选为硅树脂分离涂层。
通过使用粘结剂将聚合物层320粘结到支撑层310来形成底部片301。聚合体的热分布层330也可以使用粘结剂粘结到支撑层310。合适的粘结剂包括乙烯-丙烯酸共聚物、可固化双组分(two part)聚氨酯粘结剂和环氧粘结剂。优选的粘结剂是Morton Adcote 522或者Novacote 250。如此处使用的术语粘结剂包括可固化粘结剂、热活性粘结剂以及热塑粘结剂。还可以用粘结剂将顶部支撑层350粘结到聚合物层360。
图6中根据本发明的优选实施方式的装置总体以装置600显示,该装置用来形成层叠片,根据本发明的优选实施方式的密封件由该层叠片形成。
底部片301’包括支撑层310’,其顶部层为聚合体的热分布层330’,以及底部聚合物层320’,在底部聚合物层320’底部具有密封剂340’,该底部片301’被进给到压辊610与热辊620相接处的间隙中。顶部片302’包括支撑薄膜350’和在支撑薄膜350上的聚合物层360’。顶部片302’也被供给到压辊610与热辊620之间的间隙中。顶部片302’包括支撑薄膜350’和支撑薄膜350上的聚合物层360’。顶部片302’被进给到辊610和620之间的间隙中,以使聚合物层360’面对非泡沫、热分布层330’。分离带(突出带)370’以平行间隔布置与顶部片302’结合且插在顶部片302’和底部片301’之间。在热辊620的热量将顶部片302’、分离带370’和底部片301’结合,形成层叠片400。
层叠片400在图4中显示为平面视图,并且在图5中显示为剖视图。层的相对尺寸按比例显示,并且顶部片302’、底部片301’和突出带370’没有以完全层压结合的结构显示。层之间的粘结剂也没有显示。但是本领域普通技术人员可以理解如何粘结这些多重层。为了形成根据本发明优选实施方式的拉片密封部件,圆形(或者其它适合的形状)部410从片400冲切。在图4中可以看出,边界305’形成于每个分离带370’的边缘。因为分离带370’的底部没有粘结到非泡沫热分布层330’的顶面,所以拉片部将从非泡沫热分布层330’延伸出,以用于抓握。
虽然不希望局限于理论,但是如图3所示,相信通过将非泡沫、热分布层330设置在金属箔层310的与密封剂或粘结剂层340相对的一侧上,可以获得本发明的拉片密封部件提供的优点。非泡沫、热分布层330的布置使得热量从金属箔的感应热均匀地朝向层340改流。热量的再分布使得粘结剂或者密封剂同样地在本发明的拉片密封部件的拉片和无拉片两侧上起作用。相反,图2中所示的已有技术的拉片密封件使得热量从金属箔向上且以不均匀的方式远离层340散发。已有技术的密封件中的热量的不均匀释放被认为是由于密封件的拉片侧和无拉片侧所呈现的不同的传热特性产生的。这反之导致粘结剂或者密封剂的不均匀活性,其引起了如图2中所示的已有技术的拉片密封件所呈现的不均匀密封。
本发明的拉片密封部件使用热活性粘结剂被密封到容器的顶部。粘结剂通过密封件的底部片中的金属箔支撑的热感应被加热,所述金属箔例如为铝箔支撑片。根据本发明形成的拉片呈现出基本上更加均匀的加热和改进的密封,其中突出带由PET形成,并且非泡沫、热分布层包括在与顶部层交界处的波层上。
并且,根据本发明的拉片密封部件将粘结到容器的顶部表面,不需要使密封件的尺寸过大,并且使密封件的部分延伸超出容器的顶部边缘,以提供更加整洁的外观。即使是在容器的顶部表面基本不光滑时,例如在容器的顶部表面上具有外型线(mold lines)或者其它缺陷的情况下,本发明的拉片密封部件也提供了足够的密封。与纸被暴露或者金属箔表面被暴露或者仅由纸覆盖的容器密封件相比,拉片密封部件还呈现出基本上改进的防水性。因此,拉片密封部件提供了减少暴露到水或者汁液中的腐蚀性的附加优点。拉片密封部件的附加利益是:当密封剂被热激活以将密封部件粘结到容器时,非泡沫、热分布层隔离并由此抑制密封件的拉片部分的老化。
例子
提供下面的例子仅仅是为了解释说明,而不是旨在解释为限定。
例子1
0.7密耳的铝箔片使用粘结剂被粘结到0.5密耳的PET薄膜。1.5密耳的密封剂薄膜然后以粘结剂层压到箔/PET表面/PET叠层。三层叠层然后采用聚氨酯粘结剂被粘结到3密耳的聚烯烃薄膜层以形成底部片。石蜡薄膜层是可商购以HD Double White PE为商品名出售的树脂混合物,它是由高密度和中高密度PE以高密度PE的重量组成为70%的单层聚乙烯薄膜混合物。石蜡薄膜是有颜色的。薄膜的总的密度是0.978g/cm3。顶部片采用热粘结过程在0.5密耳的PET突出带被插入到其间后粘结到底部片。突出带的底部侧涂覆有硅分离涂层,以确保它们不会粘结到底部片的石蜡薄膜顶层。直径约1.5英寸的圆形密封件从突出带冲切出,突出片的边缘基本沿着圆的中点延伸,以使得拉片具有沿着密封件的中间从边到边的基部。密封件被感应密封到容器,并且产生均匀的密封。
例子2
按照例子1的过程,用粘结剂将0.7密耳的铝箔片粘结到0.5密耳的PET薄膜上。1.5密耳的密封剂薄膜然后用粘接剂层压到箔/PET叠层的PET表面。然后用氨基粘结剂将三层叠层粘结到3密耳的聚烯烃薄膜层,NEX M4129,以形成底部片。NEX(New England Extrusion)M4129等级的薄膜是由50%重量的高密度成分与低密度聚乙烯和一部分熔融指数聚乙烯混合的单层薄膜。总的薄膜密度是0.994g/cm3。石蜡薄膜是有颜色的。顶部片采用热粘结过程在0.5密耳的PET突出带被插入到其间后被粘结到底部片上。突出带的底部侧涂覆有硅分离涂层,以确保它们不会粘结到底部片的石蜡薄膜顶层上。直径约1.5英寸的圆形密封件从该突出带上冲切,突出片的边缘基本沿着圆的中点延伸,以使得拉片具有沿着密封件的中间从边到边的基部。密封件被感应密封到容器,并且产生均匀的密封。
例子3
按照例子1的过程,用粘结剂将0.7密耳的铝箔片粘结到0.5密耳的PET薄膜。然后将1.5密耳的密封剂薄膜用粘接剂层压到箔/PET碟层的PET表面。然后将三层叠层用氨基粘结剂粘结到共挤的3密耳的聚烯烃薄膜层NEXC4349WH,以形成底部片。NEX C4349WH等级的薄膜是混合有聚烯烃塑性体以增加韧性的共挤双层聚乙烯/聚乙烯树脂。总的薄膜密度是0.989g/cm3。石蜡薄膜是有颜色的。顶部片采用热粘结过程在0.5密耳的PET突出带被插入到其间后粘结到底部片。突出带的底部侧涂覆有硅分离涂层,以确保它们不会粘结到底部片的石蜡薄膜顶层。直径约1.5英寸的圆形密封件从该突出带冲切出,突出片的边缘基本沿着圆的中点延伸,以使得拉片具有沿着密封件的中间从边到边的基部。密封件被感应密封到容器,并且产生均匀的密封。

Claims (12)

1.一种拉片密封部件,具有顶部侧和构造成固定到容器开口周围的唇缘以封闭容器的底部侧,所述拉片密封部件包括:
底部部件,包括具有面向容器的底部表面、与其相对的顶部表面的金属箔层和具有顶部表面的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层,并且使用粘接剂将所述非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层粘接到所述金属箔层的顶部表面上,所述底部部件还包括设置在所述金属箔层的底部表面上的下部聚合物层,并且其中,所述下部聚合物层包括热活性密封剂或者热活性粘结剂涂层,以使得所述底部部件固定到容器,所述非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层使热量从所述金属箔层的感应热均匀地朝向所述下部聚合物层改流,以及呈现出在从所述容器开口移除所述拉片式密封部件时防撕裂或者破裂性,以及
顶部部件,包括顶部表面和底部表面,并且所述顶部部件的一部分包括具有顶部和底部表面的拉片部,所述拉片部的所述底部表面没有固定到所述底部部件的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的所述顶部表面,并且所述顶部部件的底部表面的一部分固定到所述底部部件的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的顶部表面上,所述顶部部件以足够的强度被固定到所述底部部件上,以当所述底部部件的底部表面处的热活性密封剂或者热活性粘结剂涂层被固定到容器时,所述底部部件能够通过拉动拉片部而被移除。
2.根据权利要求1所述的拉片密封部件,其中聚烯烃选自包括聚乙烯、聚丙烯、乙烯-丙烯共聚物及其混合物的组。
3.根据权利要求1所述的拉片密封部件,其中所述聚烯烃薄膜层的厚度至少2.5密耳。
4.根据权利要求1所述的拉片密封部件,其中分离带设置在所述拉片部的底部表面处,定位为面向所述底部部件的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的顶部表面的一部分且构造为辅助防止所述拉片部粘结到所述底部部件上。
5.根据权利要求4所述的拉片密封部件,其中所述分离带包括PET。
6.根据权利要求5所述的拉片密封部件,其中所述分离带具有设置在其底部表面上的分离材料层,所述分离材料具有比PET层弱的粘结到所述非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的特性。
7.根据权利要求1所述的拉片密封部件,其中所述顶部部件包括EVA层。
8.根据权利要求1所述的拉片密封部件,其中所述顶部部件包括PET层和在所述PET层下面的EVA层。
9.根据权利要求4所述的拉片密封部件,其中在所述分离带上具有书写内容。
10.根据权利要求1所述的拉片密封部件,其中所述聚烯烃薄膜层的密度至少为0.96g/cm3
11.根据权利要求1所述的拉片密封部件,其中所述聚烯烃薄膜层的密度至少为0.97g/cm3
12.一种拉片密封部件,具有顶部侧和构造成固定到容器开口周围的唇缘以封闭容器的底部侧,所述拉片密封部件包括:
底部部件,包括具有面向容器的底部表面、与其相对的顶部表面的金属箔层和具有顶部表面的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层,使用粘结剂将所述非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层粘结到所述金属箔层的顶部表面上,还包括设置在所述金属箔层的底部表面上的下部聚合物层,所述下部聚合物层包括热活性密封剂或者热活性粘结剂涂层;
所述非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层具有至少约为2.5密耳的厚度、以及至少约为0.96g/cm3的密度,从而所述非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层有效地将热量从所述金属箔层的感应热均匀地朝向所述下部聚合物层改流,以将所述热活性密封剂或者热活性粘接剂涂层固定到所述容器;以及
顶部部件,包括顶部表面和底部表面,并且所述顶部部件的一部分包括具有顶部和底部表面的拉片部,所述拉片部的所述底部表面没有固定到所述底部部件的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的所述顶部表面,并且所述顶部部件的底部表面的一部分固定到所述底部部件的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的顶部表面上,所述顶部部件以足够的强度被固定到所述底部部件上,以当所述底部部件的底部表面处的热活性密封剂或者热活性粘结剂涂层被固定到容器时,所述底部部件能够通过拉动拉片部而被移除;
其中分离带设置在所述拉片部的底部表面处,定位为面向所述底部部件的非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的顶部表面的一部分且构造为辅助防止所述拉片部粘结到所述底部部件上,其中所述分离带包括PET,且其中所述分离带具有设置在其底部表面上的分离材料层,所述分离材料具有比PET层弱的粘结到所述非泡沫、热分布聚烯烃薄膜层的特性。
