Description

Lyocell类纤维素短纤维作为填充纤维的应用
本发明涉及Lyocell类纤维素短纤维(Stapelfaser)的应用,以及含有这种纤维的纺织混合物的应用。
近年来描述了一系列作为粘胶法的替换方法的方法,其中将纤维素不形成衍生物地溶解在有机溶剂、有机溶剂和无机盐的组合或者盐的水溶液中。
至今,仅有一种制备这种模塑体的方法达到工业生产的程度。在该方法中,应用叔氨基氧化物,特别是N-甲基吗啉-N-氧化物(NMMO)作为溶剂。这种由在含水的叔氨基氧化物中的纤维素溶液制备模塑体的方法被称为“氨基氧化物法”或“Lyocell法”。
在所述方法中,纤维素的溶液通常利用成型设备进行挤出并由此成型。成型的溶液经由气隙到达凝固浴,在此通过所述溶液的沉积获得了模塑体。洗涤该模塑体,和任选地在进一步的处理步骤之后进行干燥。
由这种溶液制备的纤维素纤维被称作“溶剂纺丝”纤维,并且被BISFA(国际短纤维标准化局)将其类名定为Lyocell。例如,在US-A4246221中描述了一种制备Lyocell纤维的方法。所述氨基氧化物法提供了具有高强度、高湿模量和高缠绕强度的纤维。
Lyocell纤维最常用的形式是具有离散长度的切割纤维,即所谓的“短纤维”。下文中提到“Lyocell纤维”时均是指短纤维形式的Lyocell纤维。
已知,将Lyocell纤维作为填充纤维例如以无纺布形式用于褟花被,并且将其作为小球用于软垫。在这些应用中,与其他纤维类型,例如聚酯纤维相比,Lyocell纤维的优点是其出众的物理生能。相对于聚酯纤维,必须要提到其体积回弹性小和耐洗性差的缺点。为了在物理性能和应用适用性方面获得最佳效果,推荐使用Lyocell纤维和聚酯纤维的纺织混合物。在例如EP-A 0941209中描述了这种混合物。
也可考虑羽绒和羽毛作为其他的与Lyocell纤维形成混合物的组分,例如用于盒子底垫(Kasettendecken)。这种混合物不仅可干法制备,也可湿法制备。
已证明,低纤度且大切割长度的纤维易产生不均匀的混合物,并且倾向于缠结(Verknuehlungen),由此它们难以适用于所述应用。
本发明提供了用于本发明任务的Lyocell类短纤维,其比迄今已知的Lyocell纤维类型更适合作为填充纤维,并且适合作为混合物组分与其他纤维类型或羽绒或羽毛混合成纺织混合物。
所述任务是这样完成的:应用纤度(单位:dtex)与切割长度(单位:mm)的比值为0.10或更大的Lyocell类纤维素短纤维作为填充纤维,用在毯子、软垫、枕头、床垫或用于带软垫的家具的无纺布上。
令人意外地所表明的是,与己知纤维类型相比,具有更高的纤度与切割长度比值的Lyocell纤维显示出较小的缠结趋向,并且例如和羽绒形成非常均匀的混合物。
相反,随着纤度减小且切割长度增大,缠结和均匀性麻烦增加。经证实,纤度与切割长度的比值为0.5-5的Lyocell纤维是出众的、特别是用于与羽绒混合的纤维类型。
优选,本发明所用纤维的纤度为1.3-3.3dtex,特别优选为1.3-1.7dtex。
在一个特别优选的实施方案中,本发明所用纤维具有6.7dtex的纤度和6mm的切割长度。
由于加工技术的原因,切割长度不应小于3mm。对于纤维在纤维小球中的应用,其切割长度为22-30mm被证明是有利的,对于在无纺布中的应用,不超过60mm的切割长度是适合的。
按照本发明应用的纤维优选以硅酮化形式存在。
在一个优选实施方案中,以上所定义的Lyocell类纤维用在混合物中,该混合物具有至少一种其他纤维类型的纤维和/或羽绒和羽毛。
所述纺织混合物可以以例如无纺布或小球的形式存在。
将另一种纤维用作混合物组分,则其优选选自合成纤维,特别优选选自聚酯纤维、聚酰胺纤维、聚丙烯纤维和聚乳酸酯纤维。
如上定义在混合物中Lyocell纤维的含量优选为30-50重量%。
本发明的另一方面限定了毯子、软垫、枕头、床垫或用于带软垫的家具的无纺布,其包含如上定义的Lyocell类短纤维和/或如上定义的混合物作为填充纤维。
这表明,具有一定的纤度与切割长度比例的Lyocell纤维或者含有这种纤维的纺织混合物非常适合用作填充纤维。

Claims (8)

1.具有纤度为1.3-3.3dtex且纤度(单位:dtex)与切割长度(单位:mm)的比值为0.10或更大的Lyocell类纤维素短纤维作为填充纤维在毯子、软垫、枕头、床垫或用于带软垫的家具的无纺布上的应用。
2.权利要求1的应用,其特征在于所述比值为0.5-5。
3.权利要求1的应用,其特征在于所述纤维的纤度为1.3-1.7dtex。
4.权利要求1的应用,其特征在于所述Lyocell类纤维用在具有至少一种其他纤维类型的纤维和/或羽绒和羽毛的混合物中。
5.权利要求4的应用,其中所述其他纤维选自合成纤维。
6.权利要求5的应用,其特征在于所述其他纤维选自聚酯纤维、聚酰胺纤维、聚丙烯纤维和聚乳酸酯纤维。
7.权利要求4至6之一的应用,其特征在于所述Lyocell类短纤维的含量为30-50重量%。
8.毯子、软垫、枕头、床垫或用于带软垫的家具的无纺布,其包含如权利要求1-3之一所限定的短纤维和/或如权利要求4-6之一所限定的混合物作为填充纤维。
