Boîte étanche. La présente invention a pour objet une boîte étanche comprenant un corps de boîte et un organe de fermeture présentant un re bord qui se fixe amoviblement audit corps.
Cette boîte est caractérisée en ce que ledit organe de fermeture est aminci suivant une zone intérieure audit rebord en vue d'assu rer l'élasticité de ce dernier et d'obtenir un ajustement sous pression dudit corps et dudit organe.
Le dessin annexé représente, à. titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet. de l'invention, constituant. une boîte de mon t re.
La figure unique en est une vue en coupe diamétrale.
La boîte représentée comprend un corps 1 formant la glace, un organe de fermeture 2 constituant le fond et une lunette-carrure 3. lia glace 1 a la forme d'une cloche dont. la paroi 4 s'étend axialement sur toute la hau teur du mouvement 5 et touche le fond 2 en 6.
Le fond 2 possède en retrait de son dia mètre extérieur un rebord 7 présentant sur sa face extérieure un bourrelet 8 ajusté à cran dans une rainure intérieure 9 de la paroi 4 de la glace. La forme de la rainure 9 épouse exactement, celle du bourrelet 8. Les surfaces venant en contact ont été préalablement usi nées et polies très proprement, afin d'assurer crie bonne étanchéité.
Le fond 2 est aminci suivant une zone 10 intérieure au rebord 7 en vue d'assurer l'élas ticité dudit rebord 7 et, par suite, une pres- sion forte et uniforme du bourrelet 8 contre la rainure 9, ce qui améliore encore l'étan chéité.
La lunette-carrure 3 est maintenue sur la glace au moyen d'une double fixation à cran. En effet, la glace présente en 11 un renfon cement dans lequel s'engage l'extrémité supé rieure de la lunette-carrure 3; en outre, la paroi 4 présente une saillie 12 coopérant avec une gorge de forme correspondante pratiquée dans la carrure 3.
La lunette-carrure 3 présente une paroi cylindrique et une partie supérieure trorïconi- que 15. La paroi de la glace comporte égale ment la paroi proprement dite 4 et une partie supérieure tronconique 13. La. lunette-carrure 3 est appliquée sur la paroi de la glace, sa partie tronconique 15 étant appliquée sur la partie 13 de la glace, de sorte que le bord du cadran 14, ajusté contre la face intérieure de la partie 13, est caché aux regards par la partie 15 de la lunette-earrure 3.
Lorsque le mouvement est de dimensions relativement petites, comme c'est. le cas dans l'exemple représenté, un cadre d'emboîtage 16 portant le mouvement 5 est ajusté à l'inté rieur de la paroi 4 de la glace. Dans la forme d'exécution représentée, ce cadre 16 présente tune saillie 17 coopérant avec une rainure de forme correspondante pratiquée dans la paroi 4. De ce fait, la paroi 4 est légèrement amin cie dans la région. de cette rainure, ce qui assure une certaine élasticité de la, partie infé- rieure de ladite paroi 4 et facilite le montage de la boîte.
La tige de remontoir 18 traverse librement la carrure 3, la paroi 4 et le cadre 16. Une rondelle 19, par exemple en caoutchouc, est disposée dans un logement pratiqué en partie dans la glace, en partie dans la carrure, et enserre la tige 18 en vue d'assurer l'étan chéité. On pourrait aussi supprimer la ron delle 19 et munir la tige 18 d'une couronne étanche.
Le fond 2 présente un prolongement ra dial 20 tel qu'il arrive à fleur de la carrure 3. Pour monter la boîte décrite et représen tée, on introduit d'abord le cadre 16, muni du mouvement 5, dans la glace (fixation à cran en 17); puis on coiffe la glace avec la lunette- carrure 3 qui se fixe à cran sur la glace en 11 et 12; enfin, on met en place le fond 2, dont le rebord 7 se fixe à cran dans la paroi 4 de la glace en 8, 9. Pour séparer les pièces l'une de l'autre, on introduit une lame dans le joint 21 séparant la carrure 3 du prolon gement 20 du fond, ce qui libère le fond 2; ensuite, on comprime radialement la paroi 4 de la glace par son bord inférieur pour sépa rer la lunette-carrure 3.
En dilatant alors radialement la paroi 4, on peut sortir facile ment. le cadre d'emboîtage 16 et le mouve ment 5.
Selon une variante (non représentée), le bourrelet 8 pourrait être prévu sur la paroi 4, et la rainure correspondante 9 dans le rebord 7 du fond 2.
Au lieu d'être une boîte de montre, la boîte pourrait constituer, par exemple, une boîte de conserve pour des denrées alimentaires ou tout autre genre de boîte étanche.

The box shown comprises a body 1 forming the crystal, a closure member 2 constituting the bottom and a bezel-middle part 3. The crystal 1 has the shape of a bell. the wall 4 extends axially over the entire height of the movement 5 and touches the bottom 2 by 6.
The bottom 2 has, set back from its outer diameter, a rim 7 having on its outer face a bead 8 fitted snugly in an inner groove 9 of the wall 4 of the mirror. The shape of the groove 9 matches exactly that of the bead 8. The surfaces coming into contact have been previously machined and polished very cleanly, in order to ensure a good seal.
The bottom 2 is thinned along a zone 10 inside the rim 7 in order to ensure the elasticity of said rim 7 and, consequently, a strong and uniform pressure of the bead 8 against the groove 9, which further improves the elasticity of the rim. watertightness.
The bezel-middle part 3 is held on the crystal by means of a double notch fixing. Indeed, the crystal has at 11 a recess in which engages the upper end of the bezel-middle part 3; in addition, the wall 4 has a projection 12 cooperating with a correspondingly shaped groove made in the middle part 3.
The bezel 3 has a cylindrical wall and a troriconical upper part 15. The wall of the crystal also comprises the wall proper 4 and a frustoconical upper part 13. The bezel 3 is applied to the wall of the crystal. the crystal, its frustoconical part 15 being applied to part 13 of the crystal, so that the edge of the dial 14, fitted against the inner face of part 13, is hidden from view by part 15 of the bezel-earrure 3 .
When the movement is of relatively small dimensions, as it is. in the example shown, a casing frame 16 carrying the movement 5 is fitted inside the wall 4 of the mirror. In the embodiment shown, this frame 16 has a projection 17 cooperating with a correspondingly shaped groove made in the wall 4. As a result, the wall 4 is slightly thinned in the region. of this groove, which ensures a certain elasticity of the lower part of said wall 4 and facilitates assembly of the box.
The winding stem 18 freely passes through the middle part 3, the wall 4 and the frame 16. A washer 19, for example made of rubber, is placed in a housing formed partly in the crystal, partly in the middle part, and encloses the stem. 18 in order to ensure the seal. It would also be possible to omit the ron delle 19 and provide the rod 18 with a sealed crown.
The back 2 has a straight line extension 20 such that it is flush with the caseband 3. To assemble the case described and shown, the frame 16, fitted with the movement 5, is first introduced into the crystal (fixing to step in 17); then the crystal is capped with the bezel-middle part 3 which is fixed to the notch on the crystal at 11 and 12; finally, the bottom 2 is put in place, the rim 7 of which is fixed in a notch in the wall 4 of the glass at 8, 9. To separate the parts from one another, a blade is introduced into the seal 21 separating the caseband 3 from the extension 20 from the back, which frees the back 2; then, the wall 4 of the crystal is radially compressed by its lower edge to separate the bezel-middle part 3.
By then radially expanding the wall 4, it is possible to exit easily. the casing frame 16 and the movement 5.
According to a variant (not shown), the bead 8 could be provided on the wall 4, and the corresponding groove 9 in the rim 7 of the bottom 2.
Instead of being a watch box, the box could constitute, for example, a tin can for foodstuffs or any other kind of waterproof box.
