Additional patent to main patent No. 218368. The process of producing a nitrogen-containing condensation product. It has been found that a nitrogen-containing condensation product can be produced if 1 mol of the agent obtained is allowed to act on 1 mol (5'-benzoyl: amino-1'-anthraquinonyl =) 2-amino-8-bromochrysenic condensing agent Products:
with 1 mole of 1-amino-5-benzoylaminoanthraquinone and then allows condensing agents to act on the resulting body.
The nitrogen-containing condensation product obtained in very good yield forms a brown powder which dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a green color and contains vegetable fibers such as. B. Cotton, dyes from red-yellow vat in strong, pure yellow-brown tones. The dyeings achieved are very good wash, chlorine and beuehfast and, in particular, also have excellent lightfastness.
The action of condensing agents that can have an oxidizing effect, such as. B. aluminum chloride, possibly in the presence of organic acid chlorides and diluents or solvents, can take place at higher or lower temperatures. Sulfuric acid and its derivatives, which are expediently applied at low temperature, are particularly suitable as condensing agents. Carbazole rings are very likely to be formed upon exposure to condensing agents.
The new nitrogen-containing condensation product can medium dureh single or multiple crystallization from organic solvents or by treatment with oxidizing agents, such as. B. Alkali nitrite solution in an acid medium, alkali hypo: chlorite solution or perborate solution.
Example: 10 parts of (5'-benzoylamino-1'-antliraehinonyl-) 2-amino-8-bromochrysene are added to 130 parts of 96% sulfuric acid at an internal temperature of 0-5 and and for 16 hours at <B> 0- 5 'stirred. Now you enter into ice, which contains 3 parts of sodium nitrite, and stir vigorously for 3 hours. The reaction is now complete and the dye can be filtered off, washed out and dried.
2 parts dehydrated sodium acetate and 2 parts calc. Soda is kept at the boil with 114 parts of nitrobenzene until 12 parts of nitrobenzene have distilled off.
After cooling to about 193-203, 6.45 parts of the condensation product obtained in the first paragraph, 3.5 parts of 1-amino-5-benzoylamino-anthraquinone and 0.2 part of copper chloride are added, and the mixture is stirred at this temperature for 18 hours. It is then filtered hot, the residue is washed with nitrobenzene, benzene and alcohol and boiled with dilute hydrochloric acid for cleaning, filtered off, washed with water and boiled again with alcohol
1.5 parts of the dyestuff thus obtained are introduced into 27 parts of 96% strength sulfuric acid at an internal temperature of 0-6 and the mixture is stirred at 0-6 for 18 hours. Now you put it in ice which contains some sodium nitrite and stir vigorously for 6 hours at a temperature of 0-8. The reaction is now over and the dye can be filtered off, washed out and dried.
