Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 218368. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines stickstoffhaltigen Kondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein stickstoff haltiges Kondensationsprodukt hergestellt wer den kann, wenn man auf Di-(5'-benzoylamino- 8' -metlioxy- <B>l'-</B> anthrachinonyl-) 2,8 - diamino - ehrysen kondensierende Mittel einwirken lässt.
Das stickstoffhaltige Kondensationsprodukt bildet ein rotbraunes bis schwarzes Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit grüner Farbe löst und Baumwolle aus gelb roter Küpe in reinen, rotbraunen, sehr echten Tönen färbt.
Die Einwirkung kondensierender Mittel, die oxydierend wirken können, wie z. B. Alu miniumchlorid, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart organischer Säurechloride und von Verdün- nungs- oder Lösungsmitteln, kann bei höherer oder niederer Temperatur erfolgen. Als Kon densationsmittel besonders geeignet sind Schwefelsäure und ihre Derivate, die zweck mässig bei niederer Temperatur angewandt werden. Sehr wahrscheinlich werden bei der Einwirkung kondensierender Mittel Karbazol- ringe gebildet. Das neue stickstoffhaltige Kondensations produkt kann durch ein- oder mehrmaliges Kristallisieren aus organischen Lösungsmitteln oder durch Behandlung mit oxydierenden 'Mitteln, wie z.
B. Alkalinitritlösung in saurem Medium, Alkalihypochloritlösung oder Per boratlösung, gereinigt werden. <I>Beispiel:</I> 1,2 Teile Di-(5'-benzoylamino-8'-methoxy- l'-anthrachinonyl) 2,8-diaminochrysen werden bei 0-51 in 36 Teile 96,2 % ige Schwefel- säure eingetragen und 21 Stunden bei dieser Temperatur weiter gerührt.
Zur Beendigung der Farbstoffbildung wird in Eis, dem etwas Natriumnitrit zugefügt wurde, eingetragen, 1'/4 Stunde kräftig gerührt und hierauf filtriert, ausgewaschen und getrocknet.
