Anti-dust winder. The subject of the invention is a dust-proof winder, in particular, but not exclusively for watches of small formats, the winding crown of which is fitted to a tube connected to the watch case. This tube is generally welded to the caseband of the case, but it could be fitted there removably.
This winding mechanism is characterized, according to the invention, in that the winding crown is adjusted contiguously by its annular recess, the outer wall of which has a bearing, on a flanged tube of the case, the inner wall of this tube. forming a bearing surface on which rests, by a shoulder, the crown core assembled with the winding stem through the tube, the whole being shaped and arranged so that an annular space is formed between the end of said tube and the bottom of the hollow of the winding crown.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention. Fig. 1 shows, in isolation, the tube of the box; fig. 2 is a section through the winding mechanism along the axis of the winding stem; fig. 3 is a section taken along line III -III of FIG. 2.
In a round opening 4 of the frame 5 of the box is adjusted and welded the tube 6. This tube has a collar 7 and, inside, a bearing 8.
On the tube 6 is adjusted, joined by its annular recess 9, the winding crown 10, the core 11 of which is screwed onto the end of the winding stem 12, through the tube 6. The core 11 has a shoulder 13.
The winding stem being engaged with the zipper of a direct-effect winding and time-setting mechanism (not shown), it is urged from top to bottom under the action of the zipper spring, so that the winding crown bears, on the one hand, by the shoulder 13 of the core 11, on the bearing 8, and, on the other hand, by a shoulder l-1, on the collar 7.
Between the end of the tube 6 and the bottom of the recess of the crown 10, there is provided an annular space 15 faith-denying, when it is. devoid of a gasket, a dust collector in case, despite the contiguous fit of the. crown on the tube, a little dust managed to infiltrate this collector, through the adjustment joint. However, the annular space 15 will preferably be lined, at least partially, with a material impervious to dust, for example consistent grease or other fatty material.
Finally, this space 15 could be the seat of a washer or of a compact packing made of compressible material, for example rubber.
As for the adjustment surfaces of the crown 10, on the one hand, and of the tube 6, on the other hand, it is advisable and advantageous to coat them with consistent grease to ensure the best possible impermeability to dust of the gasket. 'adjustment.
The crown 10 could be driven out on the winding stem or be fixed there by wedging.
In the example shown, the tube 6 is welded to the middle 5. However. this tube could be fixed otherwise to the box, for example removably, by clamping.
