L'objet de l'invention est une boîte de montre étanche comprenant une carrure- lunette et un fond amovible vissés tous deux sur un cercle cache-poussière à filetage exté rieur. Elle est caractérisée en ce que la carrure-lunette est filetée intérieurement sur presque toute sa hauteur et présente à son extrémité supérieure un épaulement intérieur contre lequel le verre est pressé par le cercle cache-poussière lorsque celui-ci est vissé à fond.
Le dessin annexe représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de la boîte de montre faisant l'objet de l'invention.

La boîte de montre représentée comprend une carrure-lunette 3, vue d'une seule pièce, un fond amovible 4, un cercle cache-poussière à filetage extérieur 5 contenant le mouve ment et un verre 7 qui peut être avantageu sement en matière synthétique légèrement compressible. La carrure-lunette 3 est filetée intérieurement sur presque toute sa hauteur et présente, -à son extrémité supérieure, un épaulement intérieur 31' contre lequel le verre 7 est pressé par le cercle cache-pous sière 5, lorsque celui-ci est vissé à fond dans la carrure.
Le cercle cache-poussière pré sente, à son bord inférieur, du côté du fond, deux encoches 8, diamétralement opposées destinées à faciliter son serrage et son des serrage à l'aide d'une clé. Le fond 4 présente un rebord cylindrique 4' fileté intérieurement qui se visse sur le cercle cache-poussière lors que celui-ci et le mouvement sont en place. Le bord du rebord 4' présente une nervure annulaire 4-" qui, lorsque le fond est entière ment vissé, pénètre dans une rainure annu laire .correspondante 3" ménagée dans le bord inférieur de la carrure et garnie d'un paque tage d'étanchéité 9.
Un autre paquetage d'étanchéité peut être au besoin inséré entre l'extrémité supérieure du cercle cache-pous sière 5 et le verre 7 ou entre le verre et l'épaulement 3' de la carrure-lunette. La position du trou 10 du cercle 5, des tiné au passage de la. tige de remontoir, est repérée au montage et le trou est percé en suite. Si par suite du remplacement du verre, ce trou ne venait plus à se trouver, après vis sage du cercle 5, en regard du trou de la car rure, il est facile d'en percer un autre dans la position voulue.
