Timepiece. The object of the present invention is a timepiece, characterized in that its movement is held in the case by at least one annular spring housed in a space formed around the movement and acting axially, on the one hand, on the merits and, on the other hand, at least directly on part of the movement.
The appended drawing represents, by way of examples, several embodiments of the object of the invention.
The. fig. 1 to 3 are partial axial sections of these different embodiments, and FIG. 4 shows in perspective the spring and the enlarging circle of FIG. 2.
The watch shown in fig, 1 com takes a waterproof case made up of a bezel-case 5, a screw-back 6 and a thread 0 '- ace 7 . The caseback 6 is screwed into the caseband, bezel 5 by a cylindrical rim 8 that it presents. An elastic package 9 ensures the seal between the back and the caseband.
The movement 10 is held in the case by a filiform annular spring 11, surrounding the movement and acting axially on the lower surface of the casing thread 12 of the plate so as to move the movement away from the back 6 and to press the edge of the dial. 13 against an inner shoulder 14 of the middle part-bezel. The filiform spring 11 is wavy and has at least three vertices 11 ′ pressing on the casing net 12 and three other vertices 11 ″ pressing on the upper surface of the cylindrical rim 8 of the bottom. The spring 11 is open and its opening is intended for the passage of the re-mount rod.
In order to prevent the spring from being driven in rotation by the base 6 during screwing or unscrewing of the latter, one of its ends 16 (FIG. 4) is bent radially inwards and is engaged in a hole 17 made in the frame of the movement or in an enlargement circle. The arrangement of the spring 11 in the annular space 18 formed around the movement makes it possible to reduce the height of the case with respect to watches comprising the known elastic suspension devices for the movement consisting in placing the springs between the bottom and the, lower surface of the movement.
The example of fig. 2 differs from the first only in that the thread-like spring 11 acts on an outer annular shoulder 19 of an enlarging circle 20 surrounding the movement.
In the example of FIG. 3, the wavy filiform spring 11 has a flattened cross section; it acts on an external shoulder 2'1 of the frame of the movement and no longer takes support on the cylindrical rim & the bottom 6, but on the very surface 6 'of this bottom, a free space 18 sufficient to accommodate this spring at flat section being formed between the frame .du movement and the cylindrical flange 8 of the bottom.
The spring could also act on a movement protection casing attached to it. It could also be housed in a free space between the movement and an enlarging or fitting circle or else in a groove made in a relatively thick circle.
The curved end of the spring could also engage in a hole in the caseband.
