  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen     neuen          Azofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man     diazotiertes          4-Amino-2-chlor-3-äthoxy-,Q-oxmethyl-4'.r)itro-          1,1'    -     azobenzol    mit dem m -     Chloranilid    der       2.3-Oxynaphthoesäure    vereinigt. Der neue       Farbstoff    stellt einen violetten Niederschlag  dar. Auf geeigneten Substraten, wie z. B.  Baumwolle, hergestellt, färbt er diese in       korinthvioletten    Tönen mit vortrefflichen  Echtheitseigenschaften.

      <I>Beispiel:</I>    35 Teile     4-Amino-2-chlor-3-äthoxy-p-ox-          methyl-4'-nitro-1,1'-azobenzol    werden wie üb  lich     diazotiert    und in eine Lösung von 29,7  Teilen     2,3-Oxynaphthoesäure-3'-chloranilid,     50 Teilen 30     o/oiger    Natronlauge, 30 Teilen  Soda und 200 Teilen Wasser eingetragen.    Der gebildete Farbstoff fällt sofort aus. Der  violette Niederschlag wird filtriert und ge  trocknet.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man diazotiertes 4-Amino-2-chlor-3-äthoxy-p- oxrnethyl-4'-nitro-1,1'-azobenzol mit dem m-Chloranilid der 2.3-Oxyrraphthoesäure ver einigt. Der neue Farbstoff stellt einen violet ten Niederschlag dar. Auf geeigneten Sub straten, wie z. B. Baumwolle, hergestellt, färbt er diese in korinthvioletten Tönen mit vortrefflichen Echtheitseigenschaften.
