  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 185146.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Azofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man dianotiertes  4-     Amino    - 5 -     äthoxy-P-        oxmethyl-    3'- chlor     -1,1'-          azobenzol    mit dem     4-Äthoxyanilid    der     2.3-          Oxynaphthoesäure    vereinigt. Der neue Farb  stoff stellt einen     granat-roten    Niederschlag  dar.

   Auf geeigneten Substraten, wie zum  Beispiel Baumwolle, hergestellt, färbt er diese  in     granat-roten    Tönen mit vortrefflichen Echt  heitseigenschaften.  



       Beispiel:     30,5 Teile     4-Amino-5-äthoxy-ss-oxmethyl-          3'-chlor-1,1'-azobenzol    werden wie üblich di  anotiert und in eine Lösung von 30,7 Teilen       2,3-Oxynaphthoesäure-4'-äthoxyanilid,    50 Tei  len 30     o/oiger    Natronlauge, 30 Teilen Soda    und 2000 Teilen Wasser eintragen. Der ge  bildete Farbstoff fällt sofort aus. Der     granat-          rote    Niederschlag wird filtriert und getrocknet.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man dianotiertes 4-Amino-5-äthoxy-p-oxme- thyl-3'-chlor-1,1'-azobenzol mit dem p-Äthoxy- anilid der 2,3-Oxynaphthoesäure vereinigt. Der neue Farbstoff stellt einen granat-roten Niederschlag dar. Auf geeigneten Substraten, wie zum Beispiel Baumwolle, hergestellt, färbt er diese in granat-roten Tönen mit vortreff lichen Echtheitseigenschaften.
