  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Azofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man     diazotiertes          3-Ami        no-phthalsäure-N-P-phenyläthylenimid     mit dem     2,3-Oxynaphthoesäure-2'-methoxy-          anilid    vereinigt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein orangerotes,  in Wasser unlösliches Pulver. Auf geeigneten  Substraten, wie z. B. Baumwolle, hergestellt,  färbt er diese in echten orangeroten Tönen.    <I>Beispiel;</I>    26,6 Teile des     3-Amino-phthalsäure-N-p-          phenyläthylenimids    werden wie üblich     diazo-          tiert    und in eine Lösung von 29,3 Teilen     2,3-          Oxynaphthoesäure-2'-methoxyanilid,    40 Teilen  30     o/oiger        Natriumhydroxydlösung,   <B>15</B> Teilen  Soda in 1000 Teilen Wasser eingetragen. Der    gebildete     Farbstoff    fällt sofort aus.

   Der orange  rote Niederschlag wird filtriert und getrocknet.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man diazotiertes 3-Amino-phthalsäure-N-p- phenyläthylenimid mit dem 2,3-Oxynaphthoe- säure-2'-methoxyanilid vereinigt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein orangerotes Pulver, das in Wasser unlöslich ist. Auf ge eigneten Substraten, wie z. B. Baumwolle, hergestellt, färbt er diese in echten orange roten Tönen.
