      Zusatzpatent        zum        Hauptpatent    Nr. 185146.    Verfahren     zur    Herstellung eines neuen     Azofarbstoffs.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Azofarbstoff    erhält, wenn man     diazotiertes        4-          Ami        rio-    5     -äthoxy-@        -oxätbyl    - 3'- chlor -1,

  1'-     azo-          benzol    mit dem     a-Naphthylamid    der     2.3-          Oxynaphtboesäure    vereinigt. Der neue Farb  stoff stellt einen violetten Niederschlag dar.  Auf geeigneten Substraten, wie zum Beispiel  Baumwolle, hergestellt, färbt er diese in       corintli-violetten    Tönen mit vortrefflichen  Echtheitseigenschaften.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  31,9 Teile     4-Amino-5-äthoxy-ss-oxäthyl-3'-          ahlor-1,1'-azobenzol    werden wie üblich     diazo-          tiert    und in eine Lösung von 30,3 Teilen  2. 3-     Oxynaphthoesäure-1'-        naphthylamid,    50  Teilen     30o/oiger    Natronlauge, 30 Teilen Soda    und 2000 Teilen Wasser eingetragen. Der ge  bildete Farbstoff fällt sofort aus. Der violette  Niederschlag wird     filtriert    und getrocknet.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man diazotiertes 4-Amino-5-äthoxy-p-oxätbyl- 3'-chlor-1,1'-azobenzol mit dem a-Naphthyl- amid der 2.3-Oxynaphthoesäure vereinigt. Der neue Farbstoff stellt einen violetten Nie derschlag dar. Auf geeigneten Substraten, wie zum Beispiel Baumwolle, hergestellt, färbt er diese in corinth-violetten Tönen mit vor trefflichen Echtheitseigenschaften.
