      Zusatzpatent    zum     Hauptpatent    Nr. 167173.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen A     zofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen     Azofarbstoff    der Formel

    erhält, wenn man die     1-Diazo-4-chlor-2-ben-          zoesäure    mit dem     Di-(acetacetyl)-o.        o'-tolidid     kuppelt.  



  Der so erhaltene Farbstoff stellt ein hell  braunes Pulver dar. Auf geeigneten Substraten,  wie zum Beispiel Baumwolle, Wolle, Kunst  seide, hergestellt, färbt er diese in leuchten  den sehr echten gelben Tönen.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  34,3 Teile der     1-Amino-4-chlor-2-benzoe-          säure    werden wie üblich     diazotiert    und in  eine Lösung von 37,8 Teilen     Di-(acetacetyl)-          o.        o'-tolidid,    100 Teilen     Natriumhydroxyd-          lösung,    15 Teilen Soda und 2000 Teilen  Wasser eingetragen. Der gebildete Farbstoff  fällt sofort aus. Er wird filtriert und ge  trocknet.
