Der so erhaltene Farbstoff bildet ein orangebraunes Pulver. Auf geeigneten Sub straten, wie zum Beispiel Baumwolle, Wolle, Kunstseide, hergestellt, färbt er diese in leuchtenden, sehr echten orangen Tönen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 29,7 Teile 2.3-Oxynaphthoesäure-4'-chlor- anilid werden in 2000 Teilen Wasser und 60 Teilen 30 %iger Natriumhydroxydlösung gelöst. Diese Lösung wird in eine wässerige Lösung, die 31,9 Teile diazotierten Äthyl- ester des 2-Amino-4-ear#bonsäure-4'-metbyl- 1.1'-diphenylsulfons enthält und mit Essig säure angesäuert wurde, eingetragen.
