      Verfahren    zur Herstellung eines neuen     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen     Azofarbstoff    der Formel:

    erhält, wenn man den     DIethylester    des     2-Di-          azo-4'-        karbonsäure-1    .     1'-diphenyläthers    mit  dem     m-Nitranilid    der     2.3-Oxynaphtoesäure     kuppelt.  



  Der so erhaltene     Farbstoff    bildet ein rotes  Pulver. Auf geeigneten Substraten, wie zum  Beispiel Baumwolle, Wolle, Kunstseide her  gestellt, färbt er diese in leuchtenden, sehr  echten, roten Tönen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  24,3 Teile     Methylester    des     2-Amino-4-          karbonsäure-1.1'-dipbenyläthers    werden wie    üblich     diazotiert    und in eine Lösung von  30,8 Teilen des     m-Nitranilids    der     2.3-Oxy-          naphtoesäure,    60 Teilen 30     o/oiger        Natrium-,          hydroxydlösung,    15 Teilen Soda und 2000  Teilen Wasser eingetragen. Der gebildete       Farbstoff    fällt sofort aus. Er wird     filtriert,     gewaschen und     getrocknet.
