<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 152881. Yerfaluen zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Farbstoff erhält, welcher der Formel:

entspricht, wenn man diazotiertes 3-(1'- Methyl) - phenoxyacetylamino - 2 . 5 -dimethyl- 1-aminobenzol mit dem Anilid der 2 . 3-Oxy- naphthoesäure kuppelt.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein rotes Pulver. Auf geeigneten Substraten, wie zum Beispiel pflanzlichen Fasern, hergestellt, färbt er diese in echten blauroten Tönen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 28,4 Teile 3-(1'-Methyl)-phenoxyacetyl- amino-2.5-dimethyl-l-aminobenzol werden wie üblich diazotiert und in eine Lösung von 26,3 Teilen des Anilids der 2 . 3-Oxynaph- tiloesäure, 50 Teilen 30 o/oiger Natronlauge, 30 Teilen Soda und 2000 Teilen Wasser ein- getragen. Der gebildete Farbstoff fällt sofort aus. Der rote Niederschlag wird filtriert und getrocknet.
