Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Azofarbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen Farbstoff erhält, welcher der Formel:

entspricht, wenn man dianotiertes 4-(1'- Methyl)-phenoxyacetylamino -2 . 5- dimethoxy- 1-aminobenzol mit dem p-Anisidid der 2 . 3- Oxynaphthoesäure kuppelt.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkel violettes Pulver. Auf geeigneten Substraten, wie zum Beispiel pflanzlichen Fasern, herge stellt, färbt er diese in echten violetten Tönen. <I>Beispiel:</I> 31,6 Teile 4-(1'-Methyl)-phenoxyacetyl- amino-2.5-dimetboxy-l-aminobenzol werden wie üblich dianotiert und in eine Lösung von 29,3 Teilen des p-Anisidids der 2 . 3-Oxynaph- thoesäure, 50 Teilen 30 o/oiger Natronlauge, 30 Teilen Soda. und 2000 Teilen Wasser ein- getragen. Der gebildete Farbstoff fällt sofort aus. Der dunkelviolette Niederschlag wird filtriert und getrocknet.
