    erhält, wenn man den     4,4'-Dichlor-2-diazo-1,1'-          diphenyläther    mit dem     2,5-Dimethoxyanilid     der     2,3-Oxynaphthoesäure    kuppelt. Der so    erhaltene Farbstoff bildet ein dunkelrotes  Pulver.

   Auf geeigneten Substraten, wie zum  Beispiel, Baumwolle, hergestellt, färbt er  diese in leuchtenden, ausserordentlich echten  Tönen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  25,4 Teile     4,4'-Dichlor-2-amino-1,1'-phenyl-          äther    werden wie üblich     diazotiert    und in  eine Lösung von 32,3 Teilen des     2,5-Dimeth-          ogyanilids    der     2,3-Ogynaphthoesäure,    60  Teilen 30     o/oiger    Natronlauge, 15 Teilen  Soda und 2000 Teilen Wasser eingetragen.  Der gebildete Farbstoff fällt sofort aus.  Er wird filtriert, gewaschen und getrock  net
