      Verfahren    zur     Herstellung    eines neuen     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen  Farbstoff erhält, welcher der Formel:

    entspricht, wenn man dianotiertes 4-(1'       Methyl)-phenoxyacetylamino-2,5-dimethoxy-l-          aminobenzol    mit dem     p-Phenetidid    der 2 .     3-          Oxynaphthoesäure    kuppelt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkel  violettes Pulver. Auf geeigneten Substraten,  wie zum Beispiel pflanzlichen Fasern, her  gestellt, färbt er diese in echten violetten  Tönen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  31,6 Teile     4-(1'-Methyl)-phenoxyacetyl-          amino-2,5-dimethoxy-l-aminobenzol    werden  wie üblich dianotiert und in eine Lösung von  30,7 Teilen des     p-Phenetidids    der 2.     3-Oxy-          naphthoesäure,    50 Teilen 30      /oiger    Natron  lauge, 30 Teilen Soda und 2000 Teilen    Wasser eingetragen. Der gebildete Farbstoff  fällt sofort aus. Der dunkelviolette Nieder  schlag wird filtriert und getrocknet.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Farbstoffes, welcher der Formel: OCHS I N=N- < __,>-NHCOCH2-0- < ::>-CHs I 0g OCH3 C CONH--C>-0C2H5 entspricht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man dianotiertes 4-(1'-DIethyl)-phenoxyacetylamino- 2.5-dimethoxy-l-aminobenzol mit dem p-Phe- netidid der 2.3-Oxynaphthoesäure kuppelt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkel violettes Pulver.
