  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 161.842.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     AzofarbstQffes.       Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man einen neuen     Azofarbstoff    der Formel:

    erhält, wenn man den     Butylester    des     2-Diazo-          4-karbonsäure-4'-chlor-l.l'-diphenylätliers    mit  dem     5-Chlor-2-toluidid    der     2.3-Oxynaphtoe-          säure    kuppelt.  



  Der so erhaltene Farbstoff bildet ein rotes  Pulver. Auf geeigneten     Substraten,    wie zum  Beispiel Baumwolle, Wolle, Kunstseide her  gestellt, färbt er diese in leuchtenden, sehr  echten, scharlachroten Tönen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  31,8 Teile     Butylester    des     2-Amino-4-kar-          boneäure-4'-chlor-1.1'-diphenyläthers    werden    wie üblich     diazotiert    und in eine Lösung von  31,1 Teilen des     5-Chlor-2-toluidids    der     2.3-          Oxynaphtoesäure,    60 Teilen 30     o/oiger    Na  triumhydroxydlösung, 15 Teilen Soda und  2000 Teilen Wasser eingetragen. Der ge  bildete Farbstoff fällt sofort aus. Er wird  filtriert, gewaschen und getrocknet.
