Abstract
ELETRODO DE ÓXIDO DE METAL MISTURADO DE MÚLTIPLAS CAMADAS E MÉTODO PARA PRODUÇÃO DOS MESMOS. Uma composição e método de fabricação de eletrodos que têm atividade eletroquímica controlada para permitir que os eletrodos sejam designados para uma variedade de processos de eletro-oxidação. Os eletros são compreendidos de um revestimento compacto depositado sobre um substrato condutivo, o revestimento sendo formado como múltiplas camadas de uma mistura de um ou mais óxidos de metal de válvula. A formação de múltiplas camadas permite que as concentrações de metal do grupo da platina e metal de válvula sejam variadas para cada camada como desejado para uma aplicação. Por exemplo, uma estrutura de eletrodo pode ser fabricada para uso como um anodo em processos de eletrogalvanização, de forma que a oxidação dos aditivos orgânicos no eletrólito é notavelmente inibida. Outro eletrodo pode ser fabricado para operar em altos potenciais anódicos em eletrólitos aquoso para gerar oxidantes forte, por exemplo, peróxido de hidrogênio ou ozônio.
