Abstract

a presente invenção se refere a um eletrodo adequado como anodo para desprendimento de cloro em células eletrolíticas e a um método para obtenção do mesmo. o eletrodo compreende um substrato metálico revestido com uma composição catalítica feita de camadas finas com base em óxidos de estanho, irídio e rutênio e combina excelentes características de potencial anódico e seletividade em relação à reação de desprendimento de cloro sem recorrer ao uso de dopantes, tais como platina e paládio.
