Abstract

PROCESSO PARA A PURIFICAçãO DE 1,4-BUTANODIOL. Um processo para a purificação de uma corrente de alimentação líquida bruta, compreendendo 1,4-butanodiol e uma pequena quantidade de 2-(4-hidroxibutóxi)- tetraidrofurano e/ou seus precursores, em que o processo compreende passar a alimentação bruta na presença de hidrogênio numa zona reacional sobre um catalisador heterogêneo de cobre tolerante a líquido na fase líquida em condições de hidrogenação e recuperando uma corrente purificada de 1,4-butanodiol com uma pequena quantidade de 2-(4-hidroxibutóxi) - tetraidrofurano do que a corrente de alimentação líquida bruta.
