Abstract

"MUTANTES DA BACTéRIA DO RúMEN E PROCESSO PARA PREPARAR áCIDO SUCCìNICO UTILIZANDO AS MESMAS". A presente invenção refere-se a novos mutantes da bactéria do rúmen resultantes da disrupção de um gene de lactato deshidrogenasa (ldha) e um gene de piruvato formato-liase (pfl) (envolvidos na produção de ácido láctico, ácido fórmico e ácido acético) a partir de bactéria do rúmen; um novo mutante bacterial (Mannheimia sp. LPK7) com disrupções de um gene de lactato deshidrogenasa (ldhA), um gene de piruvato formato-liase (plf), um gene de fosfotransacetilase (pta ), e um gene de acetato quinase (ackA); um novo mutante bacterial (Mannheimia sp. LPK4) com disrupções de um lactato deshidrogenasa (ldhA), um gene de piruvato formato-liase gene (pfl) e um gene de fosfoenolpiruvato carboxilase (ppc) envolvido na imobilização de CO~ 2~ em um caminho metabólico da produção de ácido succínico; e um método para a produção de ácido succínico, caracterizado pela cultura dos acima mencionados mutantes em condições anaeróbicas. os mutantes bacteriais objeto da invenção têm a propriedade de produzir ácido succínico a uma concentração elevada enquanto produz em poucos ou nenhum outro ácido orgânico, em comparação com as cepas selvagens anteriores para a produção de vários ácidos orgânicos. Assim, os mutantes bacteriais objeto da invenção são úteis como cepas para a produção industrial de ácido succínico.
