A presente invenção refere-se a uma peça de trabalho ou peça de construção que tem um sistema de camadas, que contém pelo menos uma camada com a composição (Al~ y~Cr~ 1-y~) X, com X = N, C, B, CN, BN, CBN, NO, CO, BO, CNO, BNO ou CBNO e 0,2 <243> y < 0,7, sendo que a composição de camada dentro da camada é substancialmente constante ou se modifica continuamente ou gradualmente sobre a espessura da camada, bem como um processo para produção da mesma.
