Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"COMPOSIçõES DE POLIPEPTìDIOS TóXICAS PARA INSETOS DIABROTICA, OBTIDAS DE BACILLUS THURINGIENSIS; CRYET70, E MéTODOS DE USO"<D>. é mostrado um novo polipeptídeo <sym>-endotoxina ativo em lepidópteros e coleópteros, de Bacillus thringiensis; CryET70 e composições compreendendo o polipeptídio, seus fragmentos de peptídio, e anticorpos específicos para os mesmos. São também mostrados vetores, células hospedeiras transformadas, e plantas transgênicias que compreendem segmentos de ácido nucléico codificando o polipeptídio. São também mostrados métodos de identificação de polipeptídios relacionados e polinucleotídios, métodos de fabricação e uso de células transgênicas compreendendo as novas seq³ências da invenção, assim como métodos para controle de uma população de insetos, tais como a minhoca de raíz de milho do oeste e besouro de batata do Colorado, e para conferir a uma população de planta resistência às espécies de inseto alvos.
