Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"METALOCENOS EM PONTE PARA COPOLIMERIZAçãO DE OLEFINAS"<D>. A invenção é dirigida a complexos catalisadores de metaloceno em ponte que são suficientemente solúveis em solventes alifáticos para serem particularmente adequados para processos de polimerização de olefinas em solução de tal modo que podem ser preparados copolímeros de olefina com altos pesos moleculares e atividades catalisadoras particularmente em altas temperaturas de reação de polimerização. Mais especificamente, a invenção refere-se particularmente a um processo de polimerização para copolímeros de etileno tendo uma densidade de cerca de 0,850 a cerca de 0,940 compreendendo contatar, sob condições de polimerização em solução em uma temperatura de reação de ou acima de 60 °C a 250 °C, etileno ou um ou mais comonómeros capazes de polimerização de inserção com um complexo catalisador de metaloceno em ponte derivado de dois ligandos ancilares, cada um dos quais pode ser de modo independente substituído ou não-substituído, em que os ligandos são ligados por uma ponte covalente contendo um átomo do Grupo 14 único substituído, a substituíção no átomo do Grupo 14 referido compreendendo grupos arila no mínimo um dos quais contém um substituinte hidrocarbilsilil; e B) um co-catalisador ativante.
