Abstract
Patente de Invenção:<B>"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA O CONTROLE DE TEMPERATURA DE CATALISADOR"<D>. Um aparelho para minimizar a quantidade total de emissões de hidrocarboneto de um conversor catalítico no segmento de descarga de um motor de combustão interna inclui um sensor de temperatura acoplado ao conversor catalítico para a geração contínua de uma saída de sinal representativo de temperatura de catalisador, e um controlador para o recebimento do sinal de saída do sensor de temperatura e para o aumento do sinal afim de ter um tempo de resposta de menos do que um segundo. O controlador ajusta um ou mais parâmetros operacionais do motor, a fim de fazer com que a temperatura de catalisador rapidamente se eleve quando a temperatura de catalisador é menor do que a temperatura em estado desligado do conversor catalítico e ajusta um ou mais parâmetros operacionais do motor a fim de minimizar a velocidade de emissões de hidrocarboneto saídas do conversor catalítico quando a temperatura de catalisador é maior do que a temperatura em estado desligado de conversor catalítico.
