Abstract

<b>método para estimar a temperatura de gases de exaustão a montante de um pré-catalisador disposto ao longo de um duto de exaustão de um motor de combustão interna"<d>, o método sendo descrito para estimar a temperatura de gases de exaustão a montante de um pré-catalisador 2 disposto ao longo de um duto de exaustão de um motor 20, o qual é provido com um sistema 1 para controlar a composição dos gases de exaustão, compreendendo um sensor de oxigênio 10, o qual é disposto ao longo do duto de exaustão 7, a montante do pré-catalisador 3, um aquecedor 11, o qual é associado com o sensor de oxigênio 10, e uma unidade de controle 4, a qual, interalia, serve para o propósito de controlar o aquecedor 11. o método compreende as etapas de: determinar uma quantidade operativa v~ pepp~, a qual é correlacionada com uma potência elétrica w~ e~ fornecida ao aquecedor 11, de maneira a manter a temperatura operativa ts do sensor de oxigênio 10 próxima a temperatura objetivo t^ 0^ ; e determinar a temperatura tg dos gases de exaustão a montante do pré-catalisador 2, conforme a dita quantidade operativa v~ pepp~.
