Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"PROCESSO PARA PREPARAçãO DE GR‰NULOS DE CIANURETO DE METAL ALCALINO E DE CIANURETOS DE METAL ALCALINO-TERROSOS E DE GR‰NULOS DE CIANURETOS DE METAL ALCALINOS DE ALTA PUREZA ASSIM OBTIDOS"<D>. A invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação direta de grânulos de cianureto de metal alcalino e de grânulos de cianureto de metal alcalino-terroso a partir de um gás contendo HCN e uma solução aquosa ou suspensão aquosa de um hidróxido de metal alcalino ou de um hidróxido de metal alcalino-terroso. A reação é executada em um reator para granulação por pulverização em um leito fluidificado, onde a solução ou suspensão de hidróxido é pulverizada em grânulos de sementes do cianureto sendo preparado e ao mesmo tempo um gás contendo cianureto de hidrogênio é fornecido ao reator e a água é evaporada por meio de um gás fludificante. O gás fluidificante preferido é vapor. Os gases de reação do processo BMA ou Andrussow pode ser resfriado com água e a mistura de gases usada como gás fludificante. Usando-se um gás contendo HCN e livre de CO~ 2~, grânulos de cianureto de metal alcalino com uma combinação de propriedades importantes, inclusive uma concentração conjunta de carbonato de metal alcalino e formiato de metal alcalino de menos que 0,4% em peso são obtidos.
