Abstract

a invenção refere-se a um agente reticulante vinílico de poli-diorganossiloxano hidrofilizado que compreende (1) uma cadeia polimérica de poli-diorganossiloxano compreendendo unidades de dimetilsiloxano e unidades de siloxano hidrofilizadas tendo cada uma um substituinte de metila e um substituinte radical orgânico c4?c40 monovalente tendo dois a seis grupos hidroxila, em que a proporção molar das unidades de siloxano hidrofilizado para as unidades de dimetilsiloxano variam entre cerca de 0,035 e cerca de 0,15 e (2) dois grupos terminais de (met)acriloíla. o agente reticulante vinílico de poli-diorganossiloxano hidrofilizado tem um peso molecular numérico médio de cerca de 3000 dáltons a cerca de 80.000 dáltons. a presente invenção também está relacionada a uma lente de contato de silicone-hidrogel, a qual compreende unidades de repetição derivadas de um agente reticulante vinílico de poli-diorganossiloxano hidrofilizado da invenção.
