Abstract

composição de meio e método para preparar toxina botulínica refere-se, mais particularmente, a uma composição de meio para cultura de clostridium sp. capaz de produzir toxina botulínica. a composição de meio da presente invenção compreende pelo menos um hidrolisado de caseína e pelo menos uma peptona derivada de vegetal selecionada a partir do grupo que consiste em um hidrolisado de ervilha, um hidrolisado de semente de algodão e um hidrolisado de glúten de milho. quando o meio de acordo com a presente invenção, que contém peptonas derivadas de vegetal, hidrolisados de caseína e minerais, é utilizado para cultura de clostridium botulinum, a taxa de crescimento da bactéria no meio é maior do que aquela do meio que está em uso atualmente e o meio compreendendo peptonas derivadas de planta isoladas. além disso, quando o meio da presente invenção é utilizado, uma alta concentração de toxina botulínica pode ser produzida cultivando a bactéria em um modo seguro.
