resumo “produção de diterpeno extracelular” a presente invenção refere-se a um método para a produção de um diterpeno ou um diterpeno glicosilado, método esse que compreende: a. fermentação de um microrganismo recombinante em um meio de fermentação adequado, em que o microrganismo compreende uma ou mais sequências de nucleotídeos que codifica: um polipeptídeo tendo atividade ent-copalil pirofosfato sintase; um polipeptídeo tendo atividade de ent-caureno sintase; um polipeptídeo tendo atividade de ent-caureno oxidase; e um polipeptídeo tendo atividade de ácido caurenóico 13-hidroxilase e em que a expressão da (s) sequência (s) de nucleotídeos confere ao microrganismo a capacidade de produzir, pelo menos, esteviol, através do qual um diterpeno ou diterpeno glicosilado é produzido extracelularmente no meio de fermentação; e b. recupealimento do diterpeno ou diterpeno glicosilado a partir do meio de fermentação.
