o presente pedido se refere a um microrganismo do gênero escherichia produtor de l-triptofano e, mais especificamente, a um microrganismo do gênero escherichia com atividade melhorada de produção de l-triptofano por enfraquecimento ou inativação da atividade de 6-fosfogluconato desidratase endógena e 2- ceto-3-desoxi-6-fosfogluconato aldolase. além disso, o presente pedido se refere a um método para a produção de l-triptofano usando o microrganismo do gênero escherichia.
