resumo mƒtodo para produ‚ìo de toxina botulênica, mais particularmente, a um mžtodo de prepara‹o de toxina botul’nica, compreendendo as etapas de: (a) tratar uma cultura de uma cepa produtora de toxina botul’nica com ‡cido para precipitar uma toxina botul’nica; (b) adicionar tamp‹o ˆ toxina botul’nica precipitada, seguido pelo tratamento com um inibidor de protease e nuclease, assim extraindo a toxina botul’nica; (c) tratar a toxina botul’nica extra’da com ‡cido para precipitar a toxina botul’nica e dissolver o precipitado em tamp‹o; e (d) purificar a toxina botul’nica por cromatografia de troca ani™nica. o uso do mžtodo da toxina da inven‹o torna poss’vel produzir uma toxina botul’nica de alta pureza por um processo simples, sugerindo que o mžtodo ž muito econ™mico e eficiente. a toxina botul’nica produzida pelo mžtodo da inven‹o tem alta pureza comparado ˆs toxinas botul’nicas produzidas por mžtodos convencionais e, portanto, tem uma capacidade aumentada para agir em uma ‡rea local. portanto, a circula‹o sistem‡tica da toxina botul’nica, que pode resultar em efeitos colaterais, ž reduzida para aumentar a segurana. de acordo, a toxina botul’nica da inven‹o pode ser utilizada para v‡rios prop—sitos, incluindo tratamento de distœrbios neuromusculares, remo‹o de rugas e tratamento de hemiplegia esp‡stica e paralisia cerebral. 1/1
