Abstract

resumo “conjugados de insulina-incretina” são aqui descritos peptídeos agonistas de insulina conjugados a incretinas em que o conjugado de insulina/incretina tem atividade agonista em ambos os re-ceptores de insulina e o receptor de incretina correspondente. a insulina é uma terapia comprovada para o tratamento de diabetes juvenil-inicial e diabetes de adultos em fase posterior. o peptídeo é biossintetizado como um precursor maior linear de baixa po-tência (cerca de 2% a 9% de insulina nativa), chamado proinsulina. a proinsulina é proteoliticamente convertida para insulina através da remo-ção seletiva de um peptídeo de ligação de 35 resíduos (peptídeo c).
