Abstract
"PROCESSOS PARA A PREPARAçãO DE BOEHMITA QUASE-CRISTALINA E DE ALUMINA DE TRANSIçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo aperfeiçoado para a preparação de boehmita quase-cristalina. Neste processo aperfeiçoado, um precursor de boehmita quase-cristalina é envelhecido em um pH abaixo de 7, preferivelmente sob condições hidrotérmicas. Foi verificado que, quando da condução de processos de preparação para aluminas quase-cristalinas descritas na técnica antecedente em um pH abaixo de 7 e sob condições hidrotérmicas, em vez do alto pH e do envelhecimento térmico usados na técnica antecedente, QCBS com cristalinidade mais alta são obtidas. No processo de acordo com a invenção, podem ser adicionados aditivos ao precursor de boehmita quase-cristalina. Isto resulta em uma QCB de alta qualidade com aditivos em um estado homogeneamente dispersado. Aditivos adequados são compostos contendo elementos selecionados a partir do grupo de metais de terras raras, metais alcalinos terrosos, metais de transição, actinidas, silício, gálio, boro e fósforo.
