Abstract
"MATERIAL PARA ANEL DE PISTãO E ANEL DE PISTãO COM AUTOLUBRIFICAçãO PARA MOTORES DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA". São divulgados material para anel de pistão e anel de pistão possuindo ambos propriedades superiores contraditórias entre si como a propriedade de deslizamento requerida para um anel de pistão e as propriedades mecânicas de um material de arame de aço para ser submetido a processos de fabricação. O material para o anel de pistão e o anel de pistão consistem essencialmente, em massa, de não menos de 0,3% mas menos de 0,8% de C, 0, 1 a 3,0% de Si, 0,1 a 3,0% de Mn, 0,03 a 0,3% de S, 0,3 a 6,0% de Cr, de preferência 3,0 a 6,0% ou 0,3 a 1,0% de Cr, 0 a 3,0% de Cu, e o saldo de Fe, e o estado de distribuição das inclusões de sulfeto com um diâmetro máximo/tamanho mínimo ^ 3^ 3 observadas na estrutura paralela à superfície periférica externa do anel de pistão formado é tal que um ângulo de interseção produzido entre linhas retas que passam pelo tamanho máximo de duas das inclusões de sulfeto não é maior que 30 graus.
