O material protetor elastomérico de poliolefina possui um módulo de elasticidade menor que cerca de 500 MPa na temperatura ambiente e um módulo de elasticidade menor que cerca de 1500 MPa a -40 C. O material elastomérico termoplástico de poliolefina que forma o tubo protetor (14) possui de preferência um alongamento até a ruptura abaixo de cerca de 500% e um ìndice de Fluidez acima de cerca de 3.
