Abstract
"CABO óPTICO, E, ESTRUTURA DE CAMADAS MúLTIPLAS E MéTODO PARA A PROTEçãO DE PELO MENOS UM ELEMENTO PARA A TRANSMISSãO DE SINAIS óPTICOS". A presente invenção diz respeito a um cabo óptico compreendendo pelo menos um elemento para a transmissão de sinais ópticos, e uma estrutura que é capaz de proteger o dito pelo menos um elemento. A dita estrutura é uma estrutura de camadas múltiplas e está disposta em uma posição radialmente externa ao dito pelo menos um elemento e compreende: a) pelo menos uma primeira camada de cobertura de material polimérico em uma posição radialmente externa ao dito pelo menos um elemento; b) pelo menos uma camada de cobertura de material polimérico de espuma em uma posição radialmente externa à dita pelo menos uma primeira camada de cobertura e c) pelo menos uma segunda camada de cobertura de material polimérico em uma posição radialmente externa à dita pelo menos uma camada de cobertura de material polimérico de espuma. O material polimérico de espuma tem uma massa específica entre 0,3 e 0,7 kg/dm^ 3^ e módulo de tração a 30<198>C entre 300 e 700 MPa. A presente invenção também diz respeito a uma estrutura de camadas múltiplas do tipo acima e um método para a proteção de pelo menos um elemento para a transmissão de sinais ópticos.
