Abstract
Композиционните материали и изделия, получени по метода, се използват в промишлеността, по-специално в ракетостроенето, автомобилната промишленост и др. Изделията са с висока твърдост, износоустойчивост, висок модул на еластичност. Високата им огнеупорност и термоустойчивост ги прави подходящи за използване в агресивни среди. Керамично композиционно тяло, съдържащо поне едно борно съединение на основния метал, се навъглеродява при температура от 1500 до 22000с в продължение на 5 до 48 ч в инертна среда, за предпочитане в аргоновата среда на пещта. Керамичното тяло се поставя в засипка от графит на прах. При контактуване на аргона със засипката от графит и с керамичното тяло се получава навъглеродяващ агент. Навъглеродяването може да се извърши и с директно подаден в пещта газ, избран от групата на со/со2 и н2/сн4, който контактува с керамичното композиционно тяло.
