Abstract
La cinta de fibra óptica flexible puede ser adaptada de forma reversible tanto a formas planas como no planas (por ejemplo, envasadas plegadas o en rollo) sin perjudicar la cinta de fibra óptica o las fibras ópticas que las conforman. Reivindicación 1: Una cinta de fibra óptica caracterizada porque comprende: una pluralidad de fibras ópticas; y un borde de material de matriz de cinta curado que une la pluralidad de fibras ópticas en una disposición de una al lado de la otra, de manera tal que al menos el 70% del material de matriz de cinta curado se encuentre ubicado a un lado de la cinta de fibra óptica, material de matriz de cinta curado que tiene (i) un alargamiento a la rotura de al menos 200% a una temperatura de 20ºC, (ii) un módulo de Young de entre 1 MPa y 20 MPa a una temperatura de 20ºC, y (iii) un módulo de Young de 100 MPa o menos a una temperatura de -40ºC.
