Abstract
Se describe un método de preparación de soles de dióxido de titanio fotocatalíticos transparentes estables, que incluye el tratamiento térmico de una suspensión de dióxido de titanio amorfo en presencia de ciertos a-hidroxiácidos. Los soles comprenden partículas de dióxido de titanio en forma de anatasa que tienen un tamaño de cristalito inferior a aproximadamente 10 nm y exhiben una excelente estabilidad y transparencia con un pH básico, neutro y ácido.
