Abstract
La presente se relaciona con un proceso que comprende las etapas de hacer reaccionar una mezcla reactiva que comprende al menos un componente que contiene silicona, al menos un componente hidrófilo y al menos un diluyente para formar un dispositivo oftálmico que tiene un ángulo de contacto de avance menor que aproximadamente 80º; y poner en contacto el dispositivo oftálmico con una solución de extracción acuosa a una temperatura de extracción elevada, en donde dicho al menos un diluyente tiene un punto de ebullición por lo menos aproximadamente 10º superior a dicha temperatura de extracción.
